When a man and a woman go beyond the speaking terms, the next line of the relationship expects the woman to visit the man's crib. As a young and innocent woman, you'll need to ask yourself these questions before visiting a man's house for the first time.

Visiting a guy's house is not an innocent journey as we may think. if it were an innocent journey, girls won't have to lie to their parents about where they're going before leaving. 

While some men have no ulterior motives for inviting you over, you need to make sure that you're ready to go down with him or else schedule your meeting point elsewhere.

So, ask yourself this important question before you visit any man's house for any reason whatsoever.

You need to be sure that you like him before going to his house. Some women think they're smart but end up getting outsmarted by their male counterparts.

So, for you not to regret anything and to avoid stories they touch, make sure you truly like him and trust him before stepping foot into his house.

Do you feel safe when you're with him, and do you believe that you'll be safe at his place without any harm coming to you?

There have been unfortunate incidences where ladies fell victim to scheming and blood-sucking men he ended up murdering them. So, be sure he is a good person before visiting his house. To be more cautious of your safety, you can tell your trusted best friend where you're going so that she'll alert your parents if you go missing.

This time around, it is important to be very careful of our decisions before it comes back to bite us.

Lets be careful of those we intend to help. not all who ask for help needs help.

 

I am still a struggling young guy, but the little I make I share with those who doesn't have at all. that's my nature, and also I know what it is to be broke.

 

Last month, I came across a Lady's post on Facebook, that she needed 1k to survive for the weekend. I went through her profile and I noticed she's real.

 

Though, I was also broke, but I had 1600 in my account, so I reached out to her and sent her 1k as she requested.

 

she later chatted me up and sent her number to call and also appreciate my gesture.

 

we talked a lot and I got to know she lives in Benin city alone and sometimes spend days with her boyfriend who happens to be a fulltime broke yahoo boy.

 

I talked to her about the risk of living with someone who doesn't have a job and rather be involved in yahoo, and also I gave her samples of how desperate yahoo boys use their girls for ritual, but she defended him that he's not that type.

 

along the line, I learnt she had a skill, fashion design.

 

I discussed why she hasn't been using her skill to help herself grow, but she complained lack of funds to get a sewing machine and also that people don't sew clothes in Lagos

 

I told her about Lagos, and she seems interested. in fact, I told her my mom has a sewing machine that she doesn't use frequently, that I will discuss with her to release it.

 

she was happy, but said she doesn't know anyone to accommodate her in lag, but she has a friend who's married but not sure if she can accommodate her.

 

then I promised to help discuss with my mom and fiancee so that we can help her with accommodation and the sewing machine, and she seems glad about it.

 

I discussed with my mom and fiancee about it, and they agreed I bring her. my mom showed special interest in helping her in a little way she can afford when she heard her story.

 

I told her the latest development, then she asked when would come, I told her that anytime she likes, then she told me she doesn't have enough money for transportation to lag. she has only 2k while tfare would cost 5k, I promised to help her with 3k the following week, not that I have it, but I had faith I will get it for her.

 

Then two days after, she messaged me that she would be coming on Saturday(today) because she owes a lot of debt and they are threatening to embarrass her on sunday(tomorrow). I should help her send the 3k so she can start coming.

 

I struggled and fasted just to help her raise the 3k, so that she can start coming.

I also noticed my mom about the development.

 

ulcer almost killed me because i made sure I help her send the money yesterday evening, I didn't any healthy food because of the savings.

 

this morning, I sent her a message to know if she has started coming and she replied yes, that she's in the bus. few hours later, I didn't hear from her, I sent her another message to know where she has reached, but she read and didnt reply me.

 

meanwhile my mom was already worrying me about her situation. so I collected my mom phone to call her, to my greatest surprise was hearing loud music and noise in the background, immediately she heard my voice she cut and blocked my moms number and mine.

 

Before u bash me, know that she isn't the first I tried to help, some nairalanders can attest to this, because I am accommodating, both male and female. I took after my late father. because I believe God rewards those who have good heart.

 

I am not pained because she scammed me of the money I suffered for just to please and help her. if she had ask, I would have given her, but because she played and fooled me and including my mom, I am pained. that I don't think that will stop me from helping anyone else In future.

 

Modified: I have removed her pictures, and info. but this thread has made me realize I am more human than 70% of some guys on nairaland, because I had no bad intention towards her but some guys are here staying all sort of thrash because of their silly mentality.

Immediately I dropped my phone it's started ringing. 

I picked it up and he was the one on the line. 

"Let's meet up like we planned" his voice rang out and then the call ended.

I sighed and dropped the phone. 

Well I didn't text him the answer. I just texted him that I was ready to give him a reply.

I felt it was better telling him face to face so he'll know how serious I am.

    🍷Charlie's POV 🍷 

I dropped the call and my eyes fell on Mike who has been with me in the recording room.

"Mike, I'm kind of feeling weird about this" I told him.

"Why?"

"Because I expected her to give it a long thought but she already has an answer" I replied.

"So? Girls are like that, am I the one to educate you on them? Which lady in her right senses will refuse the offer? Expect well.."

"Expect what?" I asked when he stopped half way.

"Well, expect nothing but I haven't seen that kind of lady before, they will be very rare if at all they exist and those kinds should be made to stay with you at all cost, like considering.."

"What exactly are you saying Mike? You're making me nervous" I cut him in.

"I'm sure she is gonna accept, no need for long talks" he replied and I nodded.

Hopefully she will. 

 A lot of hours later.

The time is currently 7:45pm.

I decided to go alone to the hotel for the dinner with Rosanna. It took a lot of effort and bribing for the guards not to follow me. 

I drove at a high speed and soon I got to the hotel to surprisedly see her standing in front of the hotel. 

I quickly came down from the car and went to her. 

"Hey" I called and her eyes met mine.

"Why are you standing outside? You should have gone in, let's go..."

"No Charlie, I wanna leave now, I have a contest to prepare for, I wanna tell you my answer here, I'm sorry for acting like this" she rushed her words surprising me the more.

Truly, no one has ever acted like this to me. No lady.

"Alright then, you can go ahead" I gave her a go ahead to talk.

"Charlie, I'm sorry but I don't think I'm the right person, how can I be? You should look for someone better, I aren't fit for the position of both..." she paused and sighed.

"Your girlfriend and your daughter's mom" she completed her sentence which made me scoff. 

Like i felt bad a little about it. I suspected something like this after her text but she just proved my suspicions.

Like did she just reject me? It's really shocking. 

"I'm sorry about that, you should find someone better, I'll get going now" she added and started leaving in a haste but I stopped her.

"What makes you think you aren't fit for it?" I questioned and she stopped walking but didn't turn to stare at me.

"I'm sorry but I gat to go" she said instead which left my mouth opened.

Never in my life have I experienced something like this. A very bad rejection. 

I watched as she got into the car she came with and then she drove out of the hotel. 

"Ahhhhh!! It's CB!!" I heard screams behind me but didn't even bother to turn back or anything.

Right now I need to get my head straight, I can't seems to process the whole thing well. 

I got into my car and drove out of the hotel too before anyone could get to me.

I drove out of the hotel but immediately parked on the road side and then placed my hands on my fast beating chest.

Did I really do that? I did it, I rejected both his offer and him.

I can't believe it. 

I had been practicing the way I was gonna face him and say it's straight without stuttering or something and I did it.

Oh gosh! Hope he is not gonna get mad tho. 

It's must have come as a big shock because the face he pulled when I rejected him was as if I was speaking a foreign language. 

I placed my head on the steering and continued panting.

At a point I thought I couldn't be able to do it. 

Tara is gonna get really mad at me for sure because what I'll tell her is not what she's expecting.

Slowly I ignited my car engine and started driving to the apartment we lived in.

I really need to practice for the upcoming contest that's just coming up next week. 

The whole of next week I'll be really busy and CB is gonna be modelling for the company same next week.

Thank goodness I won't get to see him because I won't be around. It will be really weird seeing him honestly.

I got home and as expected Tara bombard me with thousands of questions but I only told her one thing. 

"Tara, I rejected him and right now I don't need disturbance okay" I replied and left for my room.

She didn't say any other thing again and I bet she must have been so shocked.

I decanted large quantity of vodka into my drinking glass. 

I didn't mind the fact that I was getting drunk already. 

Like it's still unbelievable to me that she rejected me. 

I can't seems to comprehend the feelings I'm feeling right now.

Like I felt stabbed. Like a feeling of betrayal i no I aren't supposed to feel. 

If it's concerning Ria, I can still get another person if I search but I guess my heart is too wounded.

I guess I'll have to deal with it like this. I'll have to accept the fact that I got rejected for the first time.
