TITLE: THE LORD HAS ALREADY PUT HELPERS AROUND YOU, LEARN TO RECOGNIZE THEM...

TEXT: 1 KINGS 17:9-10

"Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee. So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink".

 *SPIRITUAL NUGGET:* 

"EVEN BEFORE YOU START PRAYING AS A CHILD OF GOD FOR HIM TO GIVE YOU HELPERS, HE HAS ALREADY PUT THEM AROUND YOU, BECAUSE HE KNOWS YOU WILL ALWAYS NEED THEM, ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS TO BE ABLE TO RECOGNIZE THEM..."

 *LET'S GO DEEPER:* 

You see, one of the most important reason why the Lord Jesus Christ admonishes us in His words, "... TO WATCH AND PRAY ..." (Matt. 26:40-43). Is for us to stay sensitive and discerning to read the move of God and to also recognize when God has or is releasing the ANSWERS to our prayers and desires. This is because, it is One thing to PRAY and it is another thing to WATCH. There are alot of Believers who are good in PRAYER AND FASTING, but they lack the discerning grace and sensitivity in the SPIRIT to WATCH (KNOW) when God is bringing the answer and as a result of their insensitivity, they miss the answer to their PRAYERS, but unknown to them. This is why, you need to understand that most of the time, when God is bringing the answers to your PRAYER, it might not look like it. I mean, your HELPERS or The persons that God is sending to you to bring your DESIRE to pass will not appear to be what you want or think, this is because God comes in different dimensions. God disguises the blessing in a Way that is so unannounced and unsophisticated, but it takes sensitive in the SPIRIT to trap it.

You see, the scenario that took place in the Ministry of Elijah the Prophet and the Zeraphet woman is a clear typical example that God can USE anyone or anything or anybody to be your HELPER. It is not about them, but it is all about God. Because, your TRUE HELPER IS GOD, but HE USES MEN AS CHANNELS in releasing His HELPS to you. God is a SPIRIT, you can't see Him, neither can He just suddenly appears from Heaven to help you. Emphatically NO! He doesn't operate that way. He flows through men. He uses people to send you help and meet your need in times of need. This is why you must learn how to trust and lean Only upon the Lord at all times as HE chooses to network and releases His helps to you through various ways. When God told Elijah to go to Zeraphet, he didn't think that his HELPER was going to be such a poor widow. CARNALLY, he might initially thinks that he is going to meet a seemingly sophisticated and well to do woman, but it was the least expected person. YES! This was designed to show and teach us The move and operations of God's Spirit on how He does His things so that no man Will take the glory. YES!

 *ACTION POINT:* 

You see, this is WHY it is not good and healthy for you to be looking down CHEAPLY and negatively on people. Because you don't know who is your helper. You don't know whom God will use to help, assist you or show you the way out of trouble tomorrow. YES! God can use anybody. It doesn't really Whom they are. Sometimes your helpers can be around you, but you won't know, because you have been despising and downplaying them for long based on their current position, status and appearance, it takes discerning grace to recognize them. May the Lord open The eyes of Your Wisdom to recognize your DESTINY HELPERS in Jesus Name.

Tempur Sealy International (TPX) on Monday said it has taken steps to get its planned $4 billion takeover of rival Mattress Firm approved by regulators. 

The bedding company reported that it agreed to sell 73 Mattress Firm retail locations and its Sleep Outfitters subsidiary, which has 103 retail outlets and seven distribution centers, to privately held Mattress Warehouse.

Tempur Sealy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Scott Thompson explained that the move came after the company "conducted a divestiture process" as part of its talks with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). The FTC has challenged the Mattress Firm deal, arguing that it would hurt competition and raise mattress prices for consumers.  

Tempur Sealy noted that hearings on the challenge are set to begin Nov. 12 and last two weeks. It continued to argue that it expects to win the case, and believes the acquisition will close late this year or early next year. 

In addition to the Mattress Warehouse agreeement, Tempur Sealy also announced it planned to offer up to $1.6 billion in debt that will mature in seven years. The company said that the money raised, along with that from other debt, would be used to pay the cash considerations of the Mattress Firm purchase.

Tempur Sealy International shares slipped less than 0.5% soon after markets opened Monday but are up about 5% year-to-date.
