1. YOUR PARTNER DOESN’T MEET YOUR NEEDS.
Although your spouse will not be able to fulfill all of your expectations, there are some expectations that your partner must meet. If your spouse can't meet your basic relationship standards, your relationship has no future.
2. YOUR PARTNER PUTS IN NO EFFORT INTO MAKING THE RELATIONSHIP WORK.
It will fail if your partner does not put in any effort to make the relationship work. In order for a relationship to succeed, both partners must put forth equal effort. If your spouse does not care enough to meet you halfway, your relationship has no future.
3. YOUR RELATIONSHIP LACKS TRUST.
Every relationship requires the existence of trust. Your relationship will not last if you and your spouse can not trust each other. Being in a relationship with someone you don't trust, or who doesn't trust you, is meaningless because the relationship is guaranteed to collapse.
4. YOU BOTH WANT DIFFERENT THINGS.
You and your partner can't have a future together if you have opposing goals. If you're ready to settle down but your partner isn't, your relationship may suffer.
5. YOUR PARTNER DOESN’T ACCEPT YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE.
Your relationship has no future if your spouse does not accept you for who you are. We all have good and bad qualities, and a partner who wants to spend the rest of their life with you will put up with your flaws.
