Kisses can often be underrated, but trust us when we say that it is one of the best forms of intimacy. Some men just prefer foreplay and then intercourse, they just dislike kissing for too long. On the other hand, several women swoon over a good, passionate kiss.

Irrespective of which category you fall under, there are some things that you should never do while kissing.

1. For christ's sake, don't just stick to the lips. 

Yes, that's a great place to start but may I also present to you: the neck, the ears, the cheeks, the nose, all very kissable places for very different reasons.

2. Your kisses have no variation. 

Whether you’ve got great kissing technique or not, going for the same moves over and over again can become boring for both you and your partner. Try switching up your speed and pressure on the lips.

3. Don’t look away while kissing

Opening your eyes from time to time – is acceptable. Pulling away from time to time – acceptable. Looking somewhere else throughout the experience –Highly unacceptable. It gives the impression that you are bored and want to do something else. Unless you don’t want to, don’t look away.

4. Listen to what their mouth is trying to tell you. 

A lot of the time, the way your partner is kissing you is the way your partner wants to be kissed. So in the beginning especially, pay attention to how they're kissing you and where they're kissing you because, in all likelihood, that's what they're hoping for on your end as well.

5. You’re putting too much pressure on yourself. 

Kissing should be fun and exciting, so take a deep breath and just relax if your smooch sessions aren’t amazing. Remember, practice makes perfect!

6. Avoid giggling while kissing

This is mostly done by women. Giggling while kissing is a big turn off and it is one of the worst things you could do. You might be doing it to cover your nervousness or because you find the whole act of kissing funny. Whatever your reason is, it ruins the moment and your partner might just lose interest
