Slami Ifeanyi, a popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, has been reportedly shot dead in Awka, the capital city of Anambra state. 

The 31-years-old who was a former Mr Universe was said to be driving his new car when he was attacked and shot dead by some gunmen. 

It was reported by Leadership that the incident took place in the Umubere area of Awka, on November 28. 

A Facebook user, identified as Chijioke Okanmelu who shared the news on his page said he is speechless over the death of Slami.
