126 Years Old: "Oldest" Nigerian Man Alive Discovered In Imo State

According to the World Life Expectancy, a male life expectancy in Nigeria is 61.2, while that of a female life expectancy is 64.1, putting all the West African country's ranking at 167.

But one man is a living proof that Nigerians sure always beat the expectations of people around the world and can exceed that life expectancy of 61.2.
It was reported that Mr Luke Ahama Nwachukwu popularly known as Oshimili (which means ocean when translated from Igbo language) is currently 126-years-old and strong for that age.

Nwachukwu, a grandson to the old man proudly shard the video of his grandpa on LinkedIn.

Recall, in September 2021, he shared a video of his grandfather cutting firewood with a cutlass.
Ephraim said that his grandfather, who was a native roof maker, is still very strong despite being very old and he still rides his bicycle.

He also said that the 126 years old man was a local wrestler when he was in his youthful age and has never cheated anyone on the wrestling game.

When the old man was asked if he has imagined living this long, he said: "If you could ask me, I would say I didn't believe I would stay up till this time, so I didn't imagine so."
