BBNaija: Tension As Chichi Fights Diana Over Deji, Space

The reality show of the Big Brother Naija has completely took another event after the recent Sunday night eviction show, which Pharmsavi and Kess walked out of the house.

After the two housemates were kicked out of the reality show, Biggie now made an announcement, instructing the housemates to move into the bigger house of the show, where each of them is expected to fight for their place in the reality show.

In the midst of what is going on, there was some funny drama in the house after Deji gave Diana a wardrobe space in an attempt to reserve a space for Chichi, his close friend.

However, this plan did not go down well with Chichi, who seems to have strong love feelings for Deji.

Diana picked up on Chichis mumbling and this led to an ugly fight between the two ladies attacking each other.

There was excitement in the air during the pre-launch of the book Why Digital Marketing Series, authored by Abel Wealth.

It was an afternoon of fun and networking as friends, business associates, and partners of Abel Wealth gathered at Wondermouth Cafe in Gwarimpa, Abuja, to witness the pre-launch of his book titled Why Digital Marketing.

According to Mr. Wealth, the pre-launch, which wasnt the main book launch, was necessary to create more awareness for the book and make it available to the general public.

The book is divided into 5 series, and this is just the first series. The pre-launch is necessary to raise awareness and make the book available to those who need it, as there has already been a lot of demand, he said.

Interestingly, Mr. Wealth mentioned that the main book launch will take place after the completion of the remaining 4 series of the book.

In his welcoming speech, Mr. Wealth briefly discussed the misconception that many people only associate digital marketing with social media marketing. He emphasized that digital marketing is extensive, and social media marketing is just one component of it.

While speaking at a writing conference about digital marketing, I asked the participants what digital marketing meant to them. Many of them thought it was limited to social media marketing. However, digital marketing goes far beyond that. There are various other types of digital marketing, such as SEO, SEM, Content Marketing, Display Advertisement, Email Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, and many others. These are some of the topics you will learn about in this book.

Mr. Wealth also shared that his motivation for writing this book was to help businesses grow by providing business owners with the information they need to independently expand their digital presence.

The event was attended by several stakeholders, including Dotun Roy, the founder of Dotunroy.com, who was the guest speaker, and A.A. Momodu, a contributor to the book and the book reviewer.

Mr. Wealth is a seasoned author, disruptive digital marketer, web developer, and freelancer from Nigeria.

CAMA: Joshua Iginla Spits Fire, Says Pastors Will Die To Prevent Buhari's New Law

Brother Joshua Iginla, the General Overseer of Champions Royal Assembly, has reacted to the Companies And Allied Matters Act (CAMA) signed into law by the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.

Under the law, religious bodies, and charity organisations will be strictly regulated by the registrar-general of Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and a supervising minister.

Section 839 (1) and (2) of the CAMA law provides that the commission may by order, suspend the trustees of an association or a religious body and appoint an interim manager or managers to coordinate its affairs where it reasonably believes that there has been any misconduct or mismanagement, or where the affairs of the association are being run fraudulently or where it is necessary or desirable for the purpose of public interest.

While reacting to this development, Iginla blamed some church leaders for creating division in Christianity, thereby allowing the government to trample on churches without fear.

He lambasted them for having unnecessary doctrinal argument when there are other issues to deal with

One of the reasons the body of Christ in Nigeria is having problem is because we dont know our capacity. We have lost focus and spent time having doctrinal argument. We are the light of Nigeria.

If we want to ensure that a Christian becomes the president of this country, we have the capacity but we are so self-centered and divided that we are running to people that should be running to us, everything doesnt end in prayer, there are things we dont need prayer for in Nigeria. We have the capacity to strengthen things but the church has lost her tastes. We are in days when we no longer attack the devil but ourselves.

The reason people from other religion will continue to do better is because they understand their capacity.

If as a Christian leader, you are corrupt or found wanting, you should be dealt with, but I disagree that someone will propound a law into a spiritual entity. Its because the church is asleep. Last year, I prophesied that the church will face persecution because the church is asleep, he said.

Also, Iginla made his stand known on the CAMA law, explaining that the law is a coup against Christianity and that some pastors are ready to die to prevent the law from being implemented on churches.

He maintained that the church was built by the labour of pastors and that appointment of trustees who know nothing about the growth of the church, was highly condemnable

Do you know what it took some of us to labor to grow a church up to this level and someone will say he will appoint a trustee over the Church. You dont even know how the church came about. If a pastor is corrupt, let him face the law and go to jail but appointing a trustee? Some of us are ready to die before you do that to us, it is absolutely wrong.

Do you know why it is happening like this? Because the church isnt feared.

How do you make a law for the church? You change the trustee and put your own trustees? When has some organization become a spiritual entity?

Are you about to preach, do deliverance, in what capacity will you control the church? Make laws that prevent men of God from being corrupt and if they are corrupt, take them to court but putting your trustees is a coup against the church, he added.

He advised the government to divert its attention and energy into fight against corruption in the government

Sometimes I laugh. Thank God for this government and what they are doing, but I must say their energy must be channeled on the right thing. Those who have looted our money and sent our children to live in penury, those governors that have embezzled money should be sent to jail. Its only in my country that those who are fighting corruption are even corrupt.

Money that was spent on Covid-19, how many got it? Those who are in charge should be sent to jail. Leave the church alone. We are not government. If any pastor is found looting with the government, send him to jail but hunting the church is the last place of priority in the fight against corruption.

The government should intensify efforts against those ones. These are people we should use as scapegoats. I am not saying they should not look into the church, look into it but appointing a trustee in the church is wrong. If anyone is appointed to take my sit in my church, except the Lord hasnt anointed me, he or she will not live to see the next seven days, he warned.

Providus Bank Deactivates PiggyVest & Monnify Virtual Account Numbers

Providus Bank has deactivated the virtual account numbers of Monnify and PiggyVest.

Monnify revealed on its social media platform that it received official communication from Providus Bank that it would no longer be supporting virtual account service with immediate effect.

Yesterday, we received official communication from our partner Providus Bank that they would no longer be supporting the virtual accounts service with immediate effect.

We would ask that you dont panic and be rest assured that you would be able to access all your funds, as we are currently working with the bank to reconcile the funds in their position for availability and graceful exit, Monnify tweeted.

Even though the bank did not state the reason for deactivating the virtual accounts, it is believed it may not be unconnected to the recent directive by the CBN prohibiting financial institutions from facilitating crypto-related transactions through the banking system.

Virtual account numbers have been used by fintech companies like Piggyvest, Risevest, Cowrywise Abeg app, and others for the last 3 years. The virtual account numbers are used to ensure that their customers can efficiently fund their wallets via bank transfers using the likes of USSD, Internet banking, and other bank transfer channels instead of depending on debit cards.

Providus Banks decision to no longer support virtual accounts has left users in a state of uncertainty, especially after the bank gave no clear reason.

Monnify has however promised to partner with another bank to restore the service back to the organizations that use its service.

On its part, PiggyVest, another fintech payment platform that helps in managing the finances of businesses and individuals has already assigned new virtual account numbers to its users using Wema bank as their new partner.

It notified its customers via its Twitter handle, stating, Weve received communication from our Virtual Account Provider (Providus Bank) that the existing virtual accounts are currently inactive.
