The need to know the true paternity of a baby has continued to rise for both men and women in recent times. Infact, it is always good to be sure that a child is truly yours because all these women of nowadays cannot be fully trusted.

A lot of people believe that only the DNA testcan determine a babys biological father and as a father, we all know how fulfilling it is to have a child.

And of course we know how devastating it is to find out that youve been taking care of a child that is not yours.

1. Date of Conception

As a father, if you are having doubt that the child is not yours, try and calculate the last time you had sex with the mother of the child before conception.

If you can determine this, it will help you to know if the child is yours or not.

2. Does The Baby Really Look Like You or Another Man

If you are doubting if the baby is not yours because the child looks exactly like someone else, then you need to find out if the mother of the child is seeing someone else while you are dating her.

If the answer is yes, definitely the child isnt yours.

3. Spiritual And Emotional Connection

We all know there is always a strong bond between a father and his child.

If the child you call yours does not like you or you as a father does not like your child for no reason and there is no connection between you both, my brother that baby is not yours.

If you notice any of your adult children is always disobeying you or always doing things that will ruin the name of the family without remorse, question the paternity of that child.

He or she might not be your child and that alone could be the reason for his or her actions. Remember, if a bastard son is grown up, the family wont know peace.

4. Eye Colour, Hair Colour, Complexion

Lastly, if the babys eye colour, hair colour, or complexion does not look like his father or fathers familys own how will a father call that child his own.

A chieftain of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) in Oyo State, Engineer Oyedele Hakeem Alao has said that Water Corporation in Oyo State needs total overhauling.

Alao, who contested the 2019 gubernatorial election on the platform of AD said this in a statement made available to BLENKAS through his Media Aide, Omotayo Iyanda on Tuesday in Ibadan.

BLENKAS had reported that staff of the corporation had in January protested the non-payment of their allowances.

Our correspondent, however, gathered that some of them had been transferred to other ministries and agencies after the protest.

But Alao while reacting insisted that transferring the workers because of protest demanding for their allowances is not the solution to the problems confronting the corporation.

Alao in the message issued to congratulate Muslims over the commencement of this years Ramadan fast urged Makinde to find ways of providing portable water to the people of the State through the complete overhauling of the corporation.

Alao while speaking further said the basic teachings of Ramadan, according to Prophet Muhammad (SAW), was to be compassionate, feel what others were feeling and put oneself in their shoes, and this is why we have to be open and fair in all our endeavours before, during and after each Ramadan.

He stated that both the governed and their leaders in particular must always assess themselves to ascertain whether they were fair in their dealings with their fellow countrymen.

Alao charged Makinde to put in more action in the developmental activities of his government for the people of the state, especially in the area of security and sincere resuscitation of the moribund Water Corporation of Oyo State (WCOS).

Truly, Governor Makinde took some steps in the last few weeks to address the problems being encountered by the staff of the corporation in their personal lives and career as civil servants. Truth be told, the Oyo State Government under Engr Seyi Makinde has never done or taken any outstanding action to put water corporation back to its former glory.

Pipe borne water is not being distributed across Oyo State at the moment, except in few places like Aremo, Oje and Beere whose supply is even very erratic and epileptic.

Water Corporation of Oyo State needs complete overhauling and we have to be committed and serious about it, not paying only lip service and allowing the use of the corporation as a conduit pipe for political office holders and their cohorts.

Transferring the staff of the corporation to other MDAs has not and would not solve the humongous issues and problems with the oldest government department in the state.

How on earth will somebody think that deployment of staff to other MDAs will reduce the wage bill of the government? Is it not the same Oyo State Government that will pay the bill of the staff transferred to other ministries? This is like scratching the wall with mere fingers.
