Just Us Episode 14
~13.9 mins read
“Well… we can go together I have to pee too.†I lied and she sighed and starts to walk away, I trailed behind her and we made it to the school’s bathroom together.
I don’t want to fight with Sophie.
She rinsed her hand under the running water and I handed her the tissue so she could dry her hand.
“Well… I came here to ask..
“Ask what?†she snapped interrupting me.
“To ask about this… I don’t get why you’re so mad. I mean did i do anything wrong?†I asked.
She sighed and looked away.
Oh boy!
“I really hate myself for doing or saying this, but I think I’m jealous.†Sophie sighed..
“Fynn clearly said he can’t take off his necklace or let alone let anyone touch it. And then I asked him to get me one and well he got me one and gave you his, when you never asked for his necklace†she rolled her eyes. “I mean don’t you think I deserve that, I mean I asked for itâ€.
“Well what are you doing with it?†sophie snarled. “You’re possibly not using the necklace for anything and I asked for it first, okay fine. Why don’t we switch necklaces, take the one Fynn bought for me and give me fynn’s†Sophie said and I gently move back saying a loud “Noâ€.
“But Sophie you’re not like this, I don’t understand, you want to go this far just for a necklaceâ€.
“Yes.†she nodded…
“Well why?†I asked.
Shutting her eyes then opening them back.
“You think or you do.†I had to be sure.
“I do†she said lowly.
“Well I am sorry, for acting so childish, Fynn doesn’t even know I like him. And look at me being all stupid just because he gave you his necklace. I’m really sorry, I don’t really fall for boys that much, but I don’t know with Fynn, it’s just different!†sophie shrugged. I smiled,
“It’s okay it’s not a bad thing to like someone. Everyone does that.†I added.
“Yeah I know†sophie shrugged and took a step closer to me.
“But you†she narrowed her eyes at me. “You haven’t really liked anyone since you started schooling here.â€
I laughed. “Well I like my books, and they don’t give me time to look at others and fall in loveâ€
“But…†she started as she releases me from the hug.
“Let’s not keep secrets from each other.â€
“Now tell me, what did Fynn whisper in your ear?†she asked.
I started cooking up lies in my head not knowing what to tell Sophie.
“He said I shouldn’t take off the necklace. Like ever.â€.
And that was what came out of my mouth.
“Really?†sophie looked at me suspiciously.
“Yes, because he broke my pen today at biology… And…And… and he’s using his necklace to compensate me for the pen,†I Lied.
Wow.
“Well it’s not just a pen, it’s a rare pen from Switzerland my dad bought me before he…
“Oh…†sophie quickly said and nodded with the sentence “I understandâ€
She began. “So do you think I should do it?â€
“Do what?â€.
“confess to Fynn.†she breathed out.
At least I made her laugh.
Well now, I don’t think I have a choice now but to live like this. Cause Fynn can’t do anything about it.
I don’t think he can.
Well they say everything happens for a reason…
For my situation, what reason could it be??
.
I slowly tuck the necklace inside my shirt as Sophie and I sat down and fynn gave me the “I’m sorry look.â€.
He’s been giving me that since this morning.
I gave him the “It’s okay†look and he suddenly turned to Sophie who called his name.
“So… I have something to tell you.†Sophie said.
“Okay go on.!†Fynn said and somehow he didn’t seem to sad again.
Sophie looked at me and I nodded and gave her the “Go-on†look. She nodded back and turned to Fynn.
Sophie looks sad from his reply so she said. “Okay well you’re welcome. But.. Don’t you get my message!â€.
“What message?†Fynn said taking out his phone.
And he was being serious. Where the h*ell is he from.
“Then what message were you talking about†Fynn was lost and Sophie and I could see that.
I sighed and continued eating too.
When Fynn and I settled down on our seats at the back of the class he turned to me and asked.
“Bella. What was the message Sophie was talking about that I couldn’t understand.â€
I sighed. “She said you should forget about it, okay, so just forget about it†I said, and he nodded and turned away.
My heads starts to pound and the teacher’s voice sounded so distant I could barely concentrate.
I started to breathe heavily and I heard fynn’s voice and it sounded so distant.
“Can.. Can I go to the bathroom.†I said and I think he nodded.
I slowly start to walk my way out of the class but suddenly everything went blank.
“You passed out in class.†Sophie said.
“I did.!†I said and she nodded.
“And according to the school nurse nothing was wrong with you and she doesn’t know why you passed out, isn’t that strange?†sophie gave me a look
I shrugged and sat properly.
“Well I’m okay now.†I said.
“Well that’s good.†the nurse chipped in. “You can leave now, since you’re fine.†she smiled.
“And school is over.†Sophie announced.
“What? How… How long was I lying here. I asked her.
“You were here for two hours. Girl I don’t know what wrong with you gut make sure you go to a real doctor when you get home.†Sophie said as we both made it to the door.
“So you’re saying I’m not a real doctor?†the nurse said taking off her rubber gloves.
“No… I didn’t mean that!†sophie laughed and shoved me out of the room before walking out too.
“Fynn?†I asked.
“Look at him. He’s waiting for us.!†sophie said and from afar Fynn could be seen in front of our class with our backpacks on his hand and girls around him, they were all laughing and talking happily.
“He’s so nice. Do you think he was pretending not to know I was confessing to him and wants to be in a relationship with him or he really didn’t get the message.†Sophie asked.
And I replied. “And I don’t think he got the message. Isn’t he a little weird.â€
“He is… But in a cool way†sophie sighed.
The three of us made it out of the school gate and made it to the bus top. Fynn kept asking me if I was really okay and I just kept saying I was fine.
“It’s three blocks away from yours. Do you want to come visit?†he asked getting excited.
So he really does live around
“Jojo.†he replied.
“You mean your dog… your familiar?†I asked and he nodded.
“Oh okay.†I said and we both remained quiet again and I suddenly remembered Sophie which made me start to think about her confession moment.
I sighed. “Look I know you want to know what message Sophie was going on about.â€
“Of course I do. I feel so lost†be laughed nervously.
“When she said she liked you, she meant she really like really likes you and wants you two to be in a relationship.†I expound.
“A relationship?†He repeated.
“Well yeah. Don’t you understand the type of relationship I’m talking about?†I asked.
He must have been living in a cave.
“For example when a girl or a boy confess to the person they like. Okay so… Those two people starts a relationship, a relationship, like being there for each other all the time, sharing the same warm feelings toward each other, and also do things like hugs, ksses. Don’t you get it?†I was feeling uncomfortable explaining all this.
Fynn laughed.
“What’s so funny?†I asked.
He shook his head negatively “nothing actually. But what if I don’t want to do all that with Sophie but someone else.†His gaze was suspicious.
“Well you have to tell Sophie that… But without being too harsh or making her feel sad. But what’s wrong with sophie. You don’t like her?†I asked.
Sophie is going to be so mad.
“Well… I don’t even know what to say.†I shrugged.
“I want to do all that with someone else.†Fynn smiled.
“Okay that girl is going to be so dead cause Sophie. You know how she is. Anyways you have to tell Sophie without making her sad okay!†I reprimanded and he laughed.
“Don’t you want to know who the person might be?â€

The Shocking Story Of Abortion Doctor Who Kept Foetuses Of 2,400 Babies In His Home And Car
~3.4 mins read
A doctor who “hoarded†2,400 foetal remains used to compete with another surgeon to see how many abortions he could carry out in a day.
The US Mid-West is in shock after thousands of foetuses were found vacuum-packed in the Chicago home of Dr Ulrich Klopfer after his death last month aged 79.
The US Mid-West is in shock after thousands of foetuses were found vacuum-packed in the Chicago home of Dr Ulrich Klopfer after his death last month aged 79.
Questions are now being asked as to why the German-born physician, who performed 50,000 abortions over 40 years, would hoard so many dead babies.
He was a target of weekly protests at his primary clinics in Gary, South Bend and Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Last month, 2,246 sets of preserved foetal remains were discovered stacked floor to ceiling in a garage at his suburban Chicago home.
Weeks later, 165 more sets were found in the trunk of a Mercedes-Benz at a business where Klopfer kept several cars.
One Indiana lawmaker pronounced Klopfer a “monster.â€

MONSTER DOC
There is no indication that the doctor told others about his grim collection, including his wife.
Was a hoarding disorder behind the sinister collection of foetal remains?
Some who knew him recall the German-born Klopfer as a lonely, enigmatic figure.
Unprompted, he would often tell how he took shelter as a four-year-old when Allied planes bombed his hometown of Dresden during World War II.
He would describe emerging three days later with buildings smouldering around him, bodies in the rubble.
News reports about Klopfer going back decades portray him as combative, quick to give the finger to protesters.
For long stretches, Klopfer was the only abortion doctor in the Indiana cities where he had clinics.
Klopfer began performing abortions months after the landmark Roe v. Wade ruling legalising abortion in 1973.
He was doing 3,500 annually by 1993, he told the Chicago Tribune that year.
Allen County Right to Life went so far as to move its headquarters next door to Klopfer’s clinic in Fort Wayne to turn up the pressure on him.
It was a 1978 Chicago Sun-Times story that first raised questions publicly about Klopfer, recounting the competition between him and another doctor.
A nurse told the newspaper that the other doctor tallied each abortion in pencil on his pant leg.

WAS HE A HOARDER?
If Klopfer saw lots of marks, he would go “like wildfire to catch up,†she said.
Klopfer’s career started unravelling in the 2000s with a flurry of complaints, including that he performed an abortion on a 10-year-old raped by her uncle and did not notify law enforcement.
He complained that conservative state officials were in cahoots with anti-abortion groups to close him down.
But citing shoddy record-keeping and substandard patient monitoring, Indiana regulators took away his license in 2016.

Klopfer had been displaying signs of being a hoarder for years by then.
Kevin Bolger, his widow’s lawyer, went to the Klopfer home after the discovery of the foetuses and said it was impossible to enter some rooms because he had packed them wall to wall with newspapers, old TVs and other appliances.
But Bolger wasn’t convinced hoarding accounted for the collection of foetal remains.
“What kind of a hoarder collects body parts?†he said.
Most of the remains were from abortions Klopfer did in the early 2000s. They were in airtight plastic bags, inside scores of cardboard boxes.
Each bag was labelled with some information, such as the year of the abortion, but officials would not say whether other detail was included, such as the name of the woman.

DID HE BREAK THE LAW?
At the time Klopfer was practising, in Indiana, as in most states still, clinics routinely sent foetal remains to processors that incinerated them along with medical waste.
And because disposing of a foetus in the early 2000s would have cost around $10, maybe he was trying to save on costs.
Whether Klopfer committed a crime in keeping the foetuses is unclear.
A 2016 Indiana law requires that foetuses be treated as human remains and buried or cremated.
It also prohibits the transfer of foetuses across state lines.
But the law wasn’t in effect yet when Klopfer practiced.
And investigators haven’t said if the German-born doctor may have had a financial motive.

Klopfer’s wife is as dumbfounded as anyone about why her husband did what he did and is still getting over the shock, said Bolger.
He said he doubts there will ever be a definitive answer: “He took the answer to his grave.â€
The foetuses from the garage have been returned to Indiana, where state officials promised they will receive what anti-abortion groups said they deserved all along: a proper burial

The Discontended Fish.
~1.6 mins read
Once upon a time, some little fishes lived in a quiet pool near a river. Almost all of them were pleasant, friendly, lived and played very happily together. But one fish was different. He was. Ot a big fish, but he was the biggest fish in the pool. He was proud of this and refused to be friendly with the other fish.
'Stop playing !' he would say, 'it's time for my afternoon rest. Go away'
The older fish began to get annoyed
'Let him go away and leave us in peace!' said one.
'That's a good idea' said the oldest fish. 'I'll go and talk to him. 'So the oldest fish swam to the biggest fish and said "That pool is too small for you and we're all small, too. Why stay here? Go and join the big fish."
The biggest fish decided to take the advice of the oldest fish. So the next day, he swam down to the river. When he reached it, he said to himself, " Now i must make friends with the other big fish". Suddenly, the water around him began to sway about. He looked up and saw four fish passing over his head. They were much bigger than he was. "I must hurry and join them", he thought. But one of them looked down. "Out of my way, little fish!"he said in an angry voice. 'This water is ours". Then they drove him away.
He was very frightened and hid in the mud at the edge of the river. He soon began to feel hungry. But when he swam out to look for food, some of the big fish saw him and chased him away.. " I can't stay here"' he thought. 'I must go back to the pool. The fish were nice- not like the big fish here".
So he swam back to the pool. The little fish were surprised to see him and very surprised when he didn't get angry at them. They were most surprised when he wanted to join in their games.
"I can guess what happened", said the oldest fish. "He was too proud to be friends with us. But the river fish are big and fierce. So now he will be content to stay with us, he has learnt his lesson.
