Waec Leakage
~4.3 mins read
A Civil Society Organisation, Africa Education Watch, has sued the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) over the publication of a list of contact details of examiners for the 2020 WASSCE on social media.
Africa Education Watch, in a suit filed at the Accra High Court on Tuesday, September 29, argued that the “careless†conduct of WAEC could compromise the just ended 2020 WASSCE [West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination] results.
In its statement of claim, the plaintiff argued that although WAEC had apologised and assured the public that what was leaked was not the final markers list, an SMS making the rounds suggest that the names on the leaked document had been invited to attend a coordination and conference marking of the 2020 WASSCE scripts.
This, according to Africa Education Watch, was an indictment on WAEC and raised credibility and integrity issues about the marking standards of the 2020 WASSCE.
Africa Education Watch is therefore praying the court to among other things order WAEC to halt meeting the listed examiners meant to mark and grade the results of all WAEC examinations until new appointments are made to exclude every name on the leaked documents making rounds on social media.
It also wants the court to restrain WAEC, their agents and assigns from purporting to act in any manner that contravenes the laid down rules, regulations and general principles regarding the conduct of external examinations in Ghana.

Borobudur, Indonesia
~0.4 mins read
Borobudur is one of the most important Buddhist sites in the world and certainly one of Indonesia's most famous landmarks. Set in lush, tropical surroundings, with mountains and volcanoes rising in the distance, the site is visually stunning and soothingly peaceful.
Located on the island of Java, near Yogyakarta, this massive temple complex was constructed in the 700s, but two to three hundred years later, the site was abandoned, possibly due to volcanic eruptions in the area, and went relatively undisturbed for centuries. The site was uncovered in the 1800s by the British and later restored. Today, it is one of the most important tourist attractions in Indonesia.

~2.1 mins read
What were did Albert Einstein wanted to say in his last moments? Do you know what the last words were if asked? Well if no is your answer, then don't worry as we are here to reveal the truth about Albert Einstein's last words! Ensure you read to the end to find his last word before he died.
Before we get to know his last words? Lets first take look t the first word he uttered in his life. During Albert Einstein's childhood he was a very late talker, which made his parents to be very worried about it. Eventually one night when he and his family were eating supper Albert Einstein broke the silence, and said, 'Soup is hot'. His parents were amazed and asked him why he said a word before, even though he could talk, and his reply was 'Up to now everything was in order'.
Another intriguing event that happened in his life, that triggered his interest, was when he was 5 years old and ill, when his father gave him a compass. That compass so much sparked Einstein's interest in science.
At the age of 17 years old, Albert Einstein applied for a polytechnic school, it is surprising to let you know that he passed Maths and science, but failed in subjects like Geography, History etc. Albert Einstein spent 10 years of his life dedicated to the research of the theory of relativity, which he eventually published in 1915. And do you know that despite his works and accolades he received from the theory of general relativity, Einstein never got a Noble prize for it. It was his work in photoelectric effect that earn him one. Einstein used to love music so much more that when he was once said that ''If I weren't a scientist I will be a musician''.
Albert Einstein didn't only work on General relativity and photoelectric effect. He spent 30 years of his life on a fruitless quest to find the Theory of everything. But sadly Einstein never succeeded in finding it, and he died while still working on it.
So what really were Albert Einstein's last words? And what was he really trying to say? When Albert Einstein passed away a nurse found a speech a speech he was about to deliver in Israel, and also some set of equations by his bedside. His last words will eventually never be known, because he said them in German but the nurse attending to him didn't know how to speak German, and couldn't recall what Albert Einstein said.
Einstein died in a sleep at a hospital in Princeton, New Jersey on April 18, 1955. But Albert Einstein could might have live longer. When he suffered a blood burst in one of his vessel in 1995, doctors told him that a surgery could have saved his life. But rather Einstein gave a shocking response he said, It is tasteless to prolong life artificially, I have played my part now I will do it elegantly''.
