Tonto Dikeh Laments As Boy Dies Because Of Her
In a post shared on her Instagram page, the actress said the boys mother had messaged her and begged for money to take care of her sick child.
Dikeh disclosed that she ignored the message due to a similar experience she had with a random fan who defrauded of N370,000 under the guise that her baby needed medical attention.
The actress said she received another message the following morning from the woman she neglected, saying her son was dead.
She wrote: Few weeks ago I helped a random fan with almost half a million naira( 370K) cause they had mad challenges and she showed a baby and all, one week later I just wanted to check on them.
Boom the account has been deleted, I took it with good faith. I was so pissed, and felt used and taken for granted but I move on.
FF to two days ago, I saw a similar message, seeking medical assistance. The way I deleted and ignored the message eh, this morning I opened my Dm the mother told me her son died. My eyes hurt from crying. My heart aches so bad.
I will hate myself for a very long time. See the amount of damage one persons lies and choices have caused. My heart goes out to everyone going through one thing or the other!
I will beat myself up for this for as long as I stop feeling guilt but the person who made me ignore that message I pray you suffer more than the grieving mothers.

Petrol May Sell N150 Per Litre As Marketers Seek Hike
~1.3 mins read
Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) petrol may sell for N150 per litre in August as marketers are pushing for an upward review.
This is coming after the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA ) announced an increase of the product to a band of N140.80 to N143.80 per litre in July. Prior to the July 1 hike, the agency had approved price band of N121.50 to N123.50 per litre for the product on May 1.
However, a source who spoke to The Nation said marketers are seeking a further increase in the price of PMS due to the soaring price of crude oil in the international market. It was further learnt that Brent Crude which sold for $43.24 per barrel in July, is currently selling for $44.03 per barrel.
The source said; We are now in the meeting to fix a new petrol price for the month of August.
We are asking the PPPRA to approve N150 per litre because the prices of crude oil have increased and there is no subsidy on the product.
You will hear the announcement of the new price around four oclock today (Tuesday ).
