EBSU To Resume On 5th October 2020; 4 Things Students Are Required To Bring While Resuming
4 years ago
Following the directives of Federal Government And The Ebonyi State Government; Ebonyi State University(EBSU) has announced that it will be resuming on 5th October, 2020.
This follows the permission as was given earlier by the Ebonyi State Government, which the Governor directed that all schools starting from Primary to tertiary institutions will be reopening on 5th October 2020; after a long period of the Pandemic Lockdown.
This was as a result of the school resumption order given earlier by the Federal Government, that all schools can now resume.
According to the Memo passed by the EBSU management, the school is set to resume on the said Date, and all students are required to come back to school on or before then.
In order to maintain high preventive approach against the spread of Covid-19, the school management is set to switch to E-learning method.
This means that part or all the lectures in Ebonyi State University is going to be done mostly online.
Then in this regard, students are required to bring to the school these four things on their return:
1. Five personal face masks
2. Two bottles of personal hand sanitizer
3. Smart phone or laptop for online lectures, and
4. A modem
So I'm thrilled to welcome all EBSU Students back to the school!
Recall that it has been reported earlier on PUNCH that four ministries will be meeting after the Independence, that is after 1st October 2020; to resolve every issue about the ongoing ASUU Strike so that it will be suspended.
According to the minister of Labour -Chris Ngige, the Ministries of Finance, Education, Labour and Employment and the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation will meet with ASUU in regards to the issue on ground after the Independence.
