The balloon named ASTHROS (which is a bit catchier than Astrophysics Stratospheric Telescope for High Spectral Resolution Observations at Submillimeter-wavelengths) will carry a telescope to study stars in the Milky Way and other galaxies.
ASTHROS is planning to launch in December 2023 from Antarctica.
