DON'T QUIT WRITING... A piece by E PLUS the storyteller
As a Writer,What's been your challenge thus far?
What's your expectation when you write?
How many works do you have thus far?
How often do you write?
Where do you publish your write-ups more often?
Apart from your published and unpublished works, do you have any other online presence that is more frequent?(like writing daily or weekly on your Facebook?)
Let me congratulate you on your journey of being a writer thus far..
Bare this in mind, you are a very promising writer every time you write that piece. I perceive you love writing hence you have the passion to be better at what you do..kudosðŸ‘
Why quit writing?
First, you need an orientation that would put your mindset in the right place..
Writing is a timeless gift that remains with its owner..
This means, nothing can change that gift..
When you write, you are sharing a timeless gift, now, who receives that gift is out of your control..
Some people love free gifts while others would do anything to pay for it, it's all in the hands of your audience or viewers..
As a writer, it is okay to extend your platform for broader reach..
However, your reach depends on how visible your presence is and that visibility depends on how consistent you are(with regards to your personal online platform e.g Facebook)..
One of the ways of making a meal appealing, is to present an inviting appetiser .
This sets the tone for demands.
As a writer, you are a builder, you must lay a solid foundation..
One of the call to action you can take today, is to start writing stuffs(no matter how short or lengthy) that projects your writing prowess..
This will naturally engage people(at least your family and friends are your immediate viewers or audience.)
Now, response does not necessarily translate to _"comments"_ in the comment box - No! It doesn't!
You have mixed crowd out there:
1.

2.Those who will read and comment.
No 1 category of people are more..
A writer should also be a team player , particularly for someone who is willing to network with other platforms to get more visibility, after all, the way up is the way down!
Humility is key.👠This means you can leverage on blogs and other social platforms available(even if you have to pay)
I am a blogger and a Story teller and one major service I and my Creative team offer is press interviews for creatives and even business personalities. This is a plus for visibility because it offers you the opportunity and platform to sell yourself and your brand to numerous viewers.
This is just one example.
We also run a YouTube channel where visibility is given to works..
We can talk more about this(if you are interested, you can send a whatsapp to 09075005895)
And the list of platforms to leverage on, is inexhaustible. .So you don't have to silence your writing voice..keep at it..
Meanwhile, start something quite interesting on your Facebook..for a start don't create an impression that you just want to sell your work..
Let your creativity work that out! So long you become consistent, your audience will find you..
Writing requires being level headed, otherwise anxiety will take the better part of you.
So don't quit writing! The journey has only began.
