The federal government has declared that the vaccine it will get for Nigerians will be safe for the people to use irrespective of their status.
Specifically, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in an interview with Legit.ng said there is no government that will get a vaccine that will kill her people.
The government disclosed this following allegation by some people that the vaccine can be inimical to peoples' health through the director, special duties and state operations of NOA, Mette Edekobi.

The federal government says the vaccine it will get for Nigerians will be safe for the people to use.
She said that there are agencies in the country that will certify the vaccines before it can be administered on the people.
She argued that just like polio vaccination, there is nothing wrong with coronavirus own.
She urged people to trust in the government as they trust them for the different vaccinations of children.

She also insisted the government can use vaccination to kill its citizens because, without them, they have nobody to govern.
According to her, Nigerians should know that the FG has the best interest of Nigerians at heart.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that in what will come as a surprise to many people around the world, a Nigerian governor has rejected COVID-19 vaccine claiming that it is meant to kill people.
Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state consequently discouraged the use of COVID-19 vaccine.
The Cable reports that while addressing a crowd, Bello doubted the authenticity of the vaccine.

He was quoted to have claimed that the vaccine wants to be used to introduce a disease that will kill people.
Legit.ng had also reported that Nigeria continues to battle the second wave of the dreaded coronavirus federal authorities in the country are trying to reduce the possibility of mass infections.
On Friday, January 15, the federal ministry of health released new protocols for religious centres to adhere to.
The protocols include 12 updated guidelines for religious gatherings to follow to minimise the spread of coronavirus.
