A lot has been heard of Sudan and Southern Sudan because of the civil war that existed between these two for many years they were perpetually at war with each other without any solution but in 2011 Southern Sudan gained its independence from Sudan after many people were killed and millions of people displaced.
After the independence of this great nation in 2011 and President Salva Kiir Mayardt was overwhelmingly elected as the president of the newly created country, just barely after 3years there was another civil war between the people of Southern Sudan over leadership.
The rebel leader, Riek Machar was not pleased with the development as such there was a peace agreement between the two is President Salva Kiir Mayardit and Riek Machar which initiated by the United Nations.
Despite the initiated, peace agreement between the two, there were breaches of the agreement by both parties.
Pope Francis is a lover of peace thought it wise to invite both President Salva Kiir Mayardt and his rival Riek Machar.

While at Pope Francis's office the pope stoops low to kiss their feet.
Hmm...
You say dirty and unhygienic, right? Well, he was only trying to show them what humility is and how they can stoop low for each other if truly they wanted to serve their country.

Humility is a good virtue that is necessary for greatness and progress in life. The ability to forsake one's right for peace to reign is a rare virtue and those who demonstrate such are never forgotten in history.
