- Darasimi and Lawrence's traditional wedding was held on Friday, October 9, 2020

- The wedding was a blend of tow different cultures, Yoruba and Niger-Delta and it was beautiful to behold
The family of gospel filmmakers, Mike and Gloria Bamiloye, are in an ecstatic mood as you read this as the last born of the Christian family, Darasimi, got married traditionally to her beloved fiance who is a gospel music singer, Lawrence Oyor, on Friday, October 9.

According to darawedlaw, a site dedicated to the wedding of the gospel ministers, we gathered that Lawrence had proposed marriage to Darasimi since April 2018 but the bride took her time to assimilate the proposal.
Darasimi did not say yes the love proposal until August 25, of the same year. The couple dated for two years before agreeing to seal their relationship by getting married.
Mike Bamiloye's daughter's traditional wedding ceremony was a blend of two cultures.
We earlier reported that the celebrated Mike and Gloria Bamiloye will be giving out their only daughter's hand in marriage to Lawrence.
The traditional wedding was a blend of both cultures of the bride's parents and that of the groom. While Darasimi is of Yoruba descent, Lawrence is from the Niger-Delta and the combo was a beautiful sight to behold.
The patriarch and matriarch of the Bamiloye's family were full of joy as the wedding of the baby of the house is coming just a few days after they celebrated 32 years of their own traditional wedding.

With a throwback photo showing the wife, Gloria holding up a bible on their engagement day, the man of God, Mike Bamiloye, revealed the event that happened on October 7, 1988.

Sharing the story of their marital journey, Mike stated that his wife was 24 while he was 28 when they got married. According to him, he had nothing to his name except the drama ministration he was travelling across the country for.

Characteristics Of Secondary School Teacher
~2.1 mins read
*Characteristics of Secondary School Teachers.*
1. Science Teachers - They don't know how to dress, they are always mean, tough and unhappy. They beat and discipline students anyhow. They teach Integrated Science, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
2. Intro Tech & Technical Drawing Teachers - They don't care about dressing, they always move about with cane, they help other teachers to beat students (but they are always nice and caring if you are close to them).
3. English Teachers - They are mostly handsome or beautiful, neat, classy, sassy but very proud. They walk and do like the whole school belongs to them because they speak fluently. They are always confident. They don't care about discipline most times, they just want to crack dry jokes which are not funny. They are so boring but think they are fun.
4. Language Teachers especially Yoruba Teachers: Their only job is to abuse you and your generation. They care about respect than intellect. They like eye service than discipline. Just know how to knee and prostrate to greet them and pronto, you are free.
5. Home Economics, Food & Nutrition Teachers: They are the mini devils, they instigate other teachers against students, they won't beat you o but they would add Jara. You can't go to the staff room without them saying something bad about you. And they can eat for Africa.
6. Maths Teachers: They don't dress well. Beating is their first calling and major skill. They beat more than they teach, they are not always friendly and they don't always look good. To them everybody should be serious like them nothing like fun or humour. They have poor communication skills.
7. Government, Social Studies, History & Civic Education Teachers: They are funny and current. They are everybody's friends (both student & teachers). They are always against the school management. They care less about what is going on in the school, they are there to teach and have fun. Students pass their subjects with less stress. They are always active once there are social activities in school. They always look good, dress smart and are fun to be with. Infact they bring life to the staff room from as they bring up one argument or the other.
8. Agric & PHE Teachers: They are minorities in schools. They don't always get involved in what goes on in school. Theirs is to operate school farms and inter house or interschool sport completions.
9. Geography Teachers: They know everywhere and can tell you the name of every cloud in the sky. They are aloof and they can make you write notes for a whole day. They are mostly conservative and very boring.
10. Music & Fine Art Teachers: They dress well with funny colours. They over rate their teaching skills and voice. They don't beat students and hardly sit in the Staff room to gossip. Most male music teachers look like SU but they like to have girls around them always.
Were these true of your Secondary School Teachers

Benue State University Professors Failed VC Examination Only 7 Passed
~1.7 mins read
A PROFESSOR who had earlier submitted online application for the position of
the Vice-Chancellor of Benue State University (BSU), Eugene Aliegba, has
withdrawn from the race.
Aliegba also did not participate in an examination organised for the 28
candidates competing to replace Prof. Msugh Kembe as vice chancellor of the
university on Monday.
Kembe’s tenure ends next month.
The Nation learnt that only seven of the 27 professors that wrote the
examination passed.
Aliegba, a professor of Political Science of over 20 years’ experience, withdrew
from the examination.
An interview has been scheduled this week to select three candidates among
whom the new vice chancellor would be picked.
Aliegba questioned the criteria that required the candidates to write
examination. He argued that it was unfair for a professor of over 25 years
standing to write an examination with another professor who has just two or
three years’ experience, insisting that there must be a set standard.
“If a professor sits for examination, who will mark him? It is not done
anywhere where an examination is conducted for selection of vice chancellor.
What you do is select candidates based on CV submitted and invite them for
interview,” Aliegba said.
“I have been in university administration for quite a long time and know the
procedure for selection of a vice chancellor and from what is happening, it
seems they have already zeroed in on a candidate. They should go ahead and
announce instead of subjecting professors to examination which nothing will
come out of,” he said.
Aliegba, a former governorship aspirant, told The Nation that he informed the
BSU Governing Council Chairman Prof. Zack Gundu, of his decision to withdraw
from the race and the examination.
When contacted on the matter, Gundu said: “I have no comment on that.’’
Only seven out of the 27 Professors who sat for the examination passed. A
whooping 20 failed the examination.
It was gathered that Prof. Tor Iorapuu, who came tops in the examination, is
likely to emerge vice chancellor.
Others who passed the examinations were: Saasongu Unongu, Ama Doki, Vitalis
Tarhule Verlumun, U.D. Ikoni and Omudu Agbo.
