Mohammad Ashan was a Taliban commander who was wanted for organizing attacks on the U.S. troops with improvised explosive devices.
There were numerous posters declaring him wanted by the U.S. officials with a $100 reward for anyone who provided information that would lead to his arrest.
He presented himself to the police with the poster bearing his own face and demanded the finder’s fee.
