Who is your friend? Your friend matters a lot, your friend define who you are. A friend is that person, who got your back every time, he stands with you in every phase of your life. A friend is closer than a brother, Friends don't suppose to betray each other, but this was not so for Rita, Rita was a young promising girl of 19, she had a dream to become an economist, an entrepreneur, but her dream was cut short, because she falls for her best friend advice. In other not to waste your time, let me tell you the story.

My name is Rita, Rita Lawrence am through with secondary school, am planning to take Jamb next year to study the my dream course economic. 

I was at home one evening, when a car drive into my father's compound, I was surprised, because I don't know anyone that owned a car, is not that my family members don't have cars, they have, we are not expecting to see them soon, because they visited home last month, so I was perplexed. The person drive in and killed the engine, as the person step down, I shout, it was my lost long best friend Precious, I ran to her, and we hugged each other, I was extremely happy to see her, Precious was my best friend in secondary School, we were always with each other, nothing was able to separate us, untill one day Precious told me, she want to travel, she can't continue with school again, because she don't have money to pay for her school fees, I tried telling her not to travel, that I will help her to raise money for her school fees, she didn't listen, it seems her mind was already made up, I asked were she want to travel to, she said Lagos, that was how she left, and now she just disappeared back with a car. I welcome her inside, I asked her series of questions, she told me she travelled to Italy, that's where she stays now, she has acquired money, and she is now working in one company, she came to visit her family and also me, I was happy to see her again, we talked about everything, I was giving her latest information of what happened when she left. 

Then she asked me if I don't want to travel to Italy too, I said no, I want to go to school, she said what's school, is not because of money that makes you want to go to school, I just come to Italy within two years, you will be rich, look at me I didn't spend up to three years there, and I have make money. I asked her what kind of what will I be doing, she said don't worry, there is lot if works you can do, work is not a problem, I have arranged everything, is just for you to come. 

I told my parents about it, they were happy about it, and they support me, so that was how I agreed to follow Precious to Italy.

On our way to Italy, precious took me to a native doctor's house, I was made to swore an oath, she said the oath was to make sure, I didn't ditch her when I get there, after some days we were finally in Italy, Italy was fine, the people, building and everything I saw excites me, I thanked God I agreed to follow her, not knowing I had ingnorantly plan my down fall. From airport we drove to one big house, she said the house belongs to her, she show me to my room and told me I should rest, that five minutes time she will come get me, I thanked her and she left.

Exactly she five minutes she came into the room, she told she wants to introduce me to someone, I followed her, on getting to the sitting room I saw a woman sitting on one of the chairs. She was fat, dark in complexion and had this bossy behavior, we greet her, she said to the woman; this is her, later on I was made know that Precious sold me to the woman for two million naira, so I have to work to pay the woman, I am to pay the woman three million, and the work I am to do is that kind of work young girls do in Italy, I cried day and night when they told me, the woman also made me swore an oath, I was beaten when I refused to do it, but then there was nothing I could do, no father or mother to called it was too late, so I gave in. The work wasn't an easy one, I worked for five years before I was able to pay her, and I also worked for some few years, in other to buy my own house and other things, but life was shattered, it was a disgrace, my dreams didn't come true, and now my health is at risk, am suffering from disease which has no cure, I blame my self for believing my friend, she didn't told me all this, she didn't told me, this was what she prepared for me, she betrayed me.

Indeed hot temper, Pride, arrogance and lack of respect has lead a lot of people into trouble.

Ella is a very hardworking and ambitious lady who has dated up to 10 men but could not end up with any of them. Her relationship always come to an end with one story or the other leaving her to be heart broken. After trying so many relationships, she decided to go on her knees and ask God to direct her path.

On this faithful day, Ella came to work but was served with her sack letter because of the way she treated a customer who called her a stupid receptionist. As the saying goes, customers are always right. After the customer called her names, Ella could not hold back. She went ahead and gave the customer a hot slap which resulted into a fight. As she was crying back home after receiving her sack letter, a man took pity on her and went to console and comfort her.

The man happens to be Victor a very wealthy man who is also an engineer. He is the only son of his mother. His father died when he was 6 years old, leaving Victor's mother to care and cater for him. Victor never joke with his mother. He would rather prefer his mother to any other thing in the world.

After Victor met Ella, he felt he should try and pursue things with her since his mother is already disturbing him to get married. The duo later began to see each other. They loved each other and decided to get married. Victor was happy to after Ella accepted his proposal. He went straight to tell his mother about his plans to marry her.

On that faithful day when Victor decided to introduce Ella to his mother, Victor's mother decided to rush to the market and buy some food stuffs to prepare food for her daughter-in-law. Unfortunately, her car broke down on the way and she decided to use the bus. Unfortunately, Ella was sitting very close to her but since they don't know each other, they all felt everyone was a passenger. Victor's mother requested Ella to help her carry some of her bags as they were becoming heavy for her. Ella looked at her and asked her if she looks like her maid. She told her that if only she knows where she is heading to right now, she will not allow her dirty bags to touch her talk more of asking her to carry them. She was busy insulting her, not knowing that she is her fiance's mother.

When they got to the bus stop, everyone parted their ways. Victor's mother took a taxi to complete her journey, while Victor came to pick up his love. Ella and Victor eventually got home before Victor's mother. Seeing that his mother has returned, Victor asked Ngozi to come and help his mother carry the food stuffs into the house. Ella was happy and as the both of them stepped out of the house, She saw the same woman she insulted inside the bus bringing her bags out from the taxi. This left her in shock and she ran back home with tears in her eyes, knowing fully well that it's over.

Lesson: Never look down on anyone, they might just be the one that you have been waiting to meet.
