The 37-year-old from majaneng in hammanskral, Tshwane, said that people started mistaking her for the other Lebo in 2017.

The pastor at born again Christian church said that people even posted her name with Sekgobela’s photo on Facebook, tweeter, and Instagram.Pastor Lebo Sekgethela.

“I do not even know how to sing, and I have never met the gospel star but yet I am mistaken for her” she said.

Sekgobela said that she hoped to one day meet the other Lebo and take a photo with her so that then people will start to realize and notice that there are two Lebos who look nearly the same but not 100% the same.

She said that when she goes to a mall people would ask her when she is releasing an album and ask her to sing because on top of having a similar name, the other Lebo looked similar to her.

“I do not know what to say when these young people ask what route they may take to becoming professional musicians, not knowing that I do not even sing nor know how to” she said.

But the pastor said that she is so proud to be compared to a respected gospel musician as Lebo, and that she is only a writer so had revealed that she wrote over 100 poems in English and was busy writing a book that is to be published next year.

“What keeps on inspiring me to write these poems is the way I can play around with words and make them meaningful, when I write poems, I feel like I am connecting to the world” she said.

Lebo Sekgobela’s husband said that he would love to meet his wife’s twin sister.
