Osun Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on Saturday afternoon joined #EndSARS protesters in Osogbo.


The Governor marched with other executives of the state from Alekuwodo Area around 2:54 pm to Ola-Iya Junction where the protesters gathered.

Armed Men Attack Governor Oyetola At Protest Ground 

There was an attempt Saturday on the life of the Governor Oyetola. Armed with guns, cutlasses, the hoodlums swooped on the Governor at Olaiya junction,while he was addressing the #EndSARS protesters at the state capital. 

Governor Oyetola had joined protesters in the walk from Alekuwodo area to Olaiya junction, singing with them and promising them that their demands will be looked into, and that he supported how their peaceful agitations which is a part of democratic process.

The dissolution of the SARS outfit by IG of @PoliceNG is an indication that the voice of the protesters had been heard by the authorities. He urged the youth to continue to engage the leadership on reforms required to make the police force work better.
