A HERBALIST'S SERMON TO PASTORS*

The tale you are about to read was given to me by the very person involved. The tale is true, the account thereof is certain.
Once upon a time in the land of Oduduwa a pastor went out into a village to extend the gospel of Christ. He was of the Apostolic Church. On approaching this town with his youths after preaching the gospel they saw a choice land, a large expanse of land which they thought good for the gospel. Soon the pastor came again and made enquiries about this land, a good land.
Upon investigation he was told that the only herbalist in the town owned the land. Since he too was formerly from a herbalist and masquerade family before his conversion he took courage and enquired for the house of the man.
“I bring thee greetings in the Name of Our God, the Most High, the God of Apostolic Church... "
"Welcome, comest thou peaceably? I welcome you in the name of my ancestors, IFA, the oracular deity whom I serve".
After the greetings, the pastor went into the issue.
“The land which thou seest belong to the gods and to my ancestors. However, I see a light around your church which is indescribable since thou camest to this town. I will not deprive thee the land to worship such a Being who dwelleth in such indescribable light. We too know Him as the Supreme One and His Son as the Righteous One. When you begin, I donate all my children to your church to go and serve that God"
The pastor was happy hearing this and greatly encouraged. They concluded the bargain thereof and he paid a part to seal the transaction.
In the following weeks, news spread all over the town that the herbalist had given the choice land, the ancestral land to the church.
In the same week, other pastors came asking about this same land. The following weeks, more pastors came from other churches asking for land. Each time their gaze is on this land that has been bought. Upon enquiry they were told of the herbalist.
It was here the shame of modern Christianity was to be revealed to all. Some approached the herbalist asking to buy the land. He told them point blank the land had been sold to another church who had made part payment. When the pastors heard the ridiculous amount the herbalist gave away the land some were sad. They offered the herbalist much more if he would cancel the earlier transaction and give them the land.
To this the herbalist refused seeing it as wrong.
Other pastors came again and he told them the same thing. Still they wanted a deal with him. At this the herbalist was troubled and he gave these pastors a piece of his mind.
“Why do you Christians, pastors betray each other? I told you the land has been sold yet you still wanted to buy it offering larger money.
"That is treachery. Why is there so much treachery among you, Christians? In IFA tradition we don't betray each other. For instance, if I am involved in a case no other herbalist would intervene anywhere you go. Because we don't betray each other.
"You go about shouting on microphone and speakers that Jesus is the Way, yet you have lost the way.
You said Jesus is the Truth, yet there is no truth in you. I cannot discern truth in you, only treachery, betrayal and falsehood. How can you be followers of the Truth and yet be devoid of truth? How can you be preaching Him who is the Way yet you have lost the way?
"My children preached to me everyday to abandon IFA tradition and come to church. But I cannot do it because there is no truth in you. You have the Truth but you are not true.
For example if I should collect money again from you and give you the land after having sold it, the gods would punish me and afflict my family for that betrayal. This is why I cannot go to church.
Thus ends the sermon of the herbalist.
Several years later after the church had been established in the town the herbalist called his sons and told them, when I am dead the pastor of that church should bury me. His children became members of the church, but the man died in his traditional religion.
"I cannot be a Christian because of the doings of Christians."

"CHRISTMAS"
and the word
"X-MASS."
CHRISTMAS is the
combination of
two words:
"Christ and Mass."
Before Christ was born,
many years ago,
25th Dec was used to be
"PAGAN'S day for SACRIFICES."
Later in the year
533 AD Constantine,
the head of the then
Roman Church which is today the Roman Catholic,
changed the day from
"pagan's day of"
"sacrifices to"
"Jesus Christ's birth commemoration."
He called the day
"THE MASS FOR CHRIST"
i.e. CHRISTMAS
1. CHRIST in
Hebrew means,
- The Anointed One
or
- The Chosen One.
2. MAS in
Greek means
- A Big Gathering
of People
Thus
CHRISTMAS means
- The Gathering of
People of Christ,
(His Followers/Disciples)
Then,
where did the word
X-MASS
come from?
Be ware!!
It's believed that after
the day of gathering of
Christ's Followers
{CHRISTMAS},
became famous and respected worldwide,
Atheists & Antichrists decided to change it by
removing the name Christ for an X to mean
that there is no Christ.
It changed the meaning
by reading X-MASS
i.e to mean
"there is no gathering
of Christ's Followers."

& NOT X-MAS
X is often used to
designate a person
thing/factor,
whose true name is
unknown/withheld.
"X" has nothing

1. Banks must only accept cash from customers with full KYC & bank accounts.
2. Cash must only be paid into customers accounts. Cash must not be paid into ledgers or suspense accounts
3. CBN & EFCC will be tracking all deposits.
4. Old currency will become useless on the 31st of January 2023.
5. It’s an opportunity to leverage on our branch network to drive funding of accounts.
6. It will drive digital adoption & opening of new accounts.
7. CBN will no longer print large quantities of Cash. New cashless policy to be announced in January 2023.
8. Banks that receive cash from non-account holders or customers will be penalised by CBN & EFCC
9. CBN will change the current N200, N500 & N1,000 currency denominations to a new currency.
10. Everyone should start paying the old currency notes into the bank effective immediately.
11. The new currency notes will go into circulation on December 15th, 2022.
12. Collection of the old notes will stop being a legal tender on January 31st, 2023.
13. Banks are advised to keep all their deposit centres open from Monday to Saturday going forward for collections.

4. The Mallam (Local Islamic school teachers) who send other people's children to go and beg in the name of Almajiri and bring the money
to him on oath so that he will take care of his family while the Almajiri's are looking like slaves is complaining that Nigerian leaders don't know God.
5.The civil servant who comes to work once a week and shows up at the end of the month to receive full salary and kickbacks is complaining about politicians who do nothing.
6.The student who spends the whole weekend at the party after party only to start posting Instagram pictures on Monday is complaining that Nigeria is stealing his/her dreams.
7.The "VIP driver" who can't join a simple queue but keeps overlapping in and out of traffic to shunt is complaining about disorderliness in Nigeria.
8.Doctors in public and teaching hospitals on the government payroll who abandon patients on the floor but are thriving in their private hospitals are complaining that Nigeria is hopeless.
9. The officer who sees 'roger' as his/her birthright and keeps on complaining that our leaders are evil and therefore Nigeria is doomed.
10. The members who diverts the money and property of his/her organisation for personal use is complaining about bad leadership in Nigeria.
11. Until we realize that the value of Nigeria today is the average of our values, we will keep fooling ourselves.
We are all architects of our social and economic development woes.

LEAF PEOPLE... These are people who come into your life just for a season. You can't depend on them because they are weak they only come to take what they want but if the wind comes they will leave.
You need to be careful of these people because they love you when things are okay. But when the wind comes they will leave you...
BRANCH PEOPLE... They are strong but you need to be careful with them too. They break away when life becomes tough they can't handle too much weight. They may stay with you in some seasons but they will go when it becomes harder.
ROOT PEOPLE... These people are very important because they don't do things to be seen. They are supportive even if you go through a difficult time they will water you and they are not moved by your position they just love you like that ...
It's not all people you meet or have an affair with that will stay.
Only the root type of people will stay.
It is my prayer that God should raise people in your life who are just like roots who will be there for you all the days of your life in Jesus mightiest name.
A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
