How #10 Pure Water Saved Me From 11 Years Imprisonment : Ex Kirikiri Inmate.
~2.3 mins read
An ex-inmate of Kirikiri prison shared a story of how he found favor with just #10 pure water.
Azeez Ibrahim was filled with so much joy as he shared his story at the Genesis Global church on Sunday.
According to him,'I have been in jail since 2010 after been raided in Oshodi as i was going about my welding job, during one of the union members fight, we were taken to SARS office from there on the 5th of September.
After much interrogation, some of were released, 4 of us were jailed while others were hanged.
In 2012, I was transferred to Kirikiri Maximum Prison because of my welding experience to replace the welder that used to be there.
In 2015, I was then charged to Court and accused of being part of a cult fight where I was working with a security outfit, during which someone was shot dead. I rejected the claims and the case was adjourned, since I didn't have a lawyer to help me further with the case, I was given one and the case proceeded, along the line the Azeez Ibrahim from Ikorodu surfaced and I was vindicated, a damage fee of #5million was promised for wrong allegations. At this point my lawyer filed for appeal and I found favor but bail was proving difficult.
In the process, I met with one of Prophet Genesis protocol who promised he was going to help me talk to him to assist me with the bail.
On Sunday in Church as the prophet was ministering he announced that there was going to be a 3-day revival and anyone that believes should tag along, as he was only going to share #10 pure water, there in, I made up my mind to be a partaker.
On the day of the revival, the hall was filled to the brim but I managed to find my way in and made sure I got one pure water, as the prophet was ministering, his analysis were similar to my story as I was brooding over that, he approached me and told me more about myself and asked me to pray with the pure water in my hand that God should vindicate me,he prophesied that 7 inmates were going to get bail, he further told me my challenges were over if I believe, he asked me to come by weekend so he can assist me with clothings. Every one around were surprised and asked me if he knew me before now, they were also surprise on how he knew so much about me, before the day was over 4 inmates were released.
The next day I bumped into the prophet on his way to the gate, his protocol pointed at me that I was the one he was assisting me with the bail, he was surprised because I was the same person he ministered to yesterday, he assured me all is going to be well and we parted ways.
The next day, I was granted bail and taken to the prophet, he prayed for me and removed the cloth he wore and gave me, he told me he was led to do this and he has done it for no one before. My journey in Kirikiri ended there and started life afresh out here.

Covid 19 Panic
~3.2 mins read
They will organise a 'small' social event, invite 50 -100 guests and space the tables 2ft apart. The guests will come, wearing masks, and have their temps taken at the entrance - including the asymptomatic ones.. they will wash their hands at the door then go in and settle down. It's been a long hot day, and so you proceed to help yourself to the drinks already placed on your table.. you pour yourself a glass and remove your face mask to drink.. The music is blaring and so the server is practically within kissing distance, to hear and take your order. You're still not wearing your mask, but it's ok cos the tables are 2ft apart, you washed Ur hands at the entrance, your temperature read normal and you came in wearing your mask.
He proceeds to take all other orders on your table and elsewhere in the same fashion. While drinking, your long, lost friend walks by and you stand up to embrace each other and catch up for 5 minutes at close range cos the music is loud. Your mask is still off, but it's okay cos the tables have been set 2feet apart, you came in wearing your mask, washed your hands at the entrance and your temperature read 'normal'.
Then it's time for the celebrant's dance.. Some guests join in at the dance floor, gathering close together so the celebrant can notice them, spray and dance with him/her/them, while embracing and screaming congrats in their faces.. cos the music is loud. They proceed to spray the band leader too. But you choose to remain in your seat for safety reasons and so you feel safe.. After all, your tables have been set 2ft apart, you came in with your mask, washed your hands at the door, and your temp read normal.
After the dance-a-thon, the guests make their ways back to their respective tables, the very familiar ones passing by, and stopping to give you a friendly hug or rub on the shoulder. One or two actually stop over and bend to give you a light hug and pleasantries.. By now your mask is neatly tucked away in your bag, so the ofada sauce doesn't stain it. In fact everyone's mask is now either on the table, under their chins, in their bags or below their nostrils.. But it's okay though cos the tables remain 2ft apart, you all came in wearing your masks, washed your hands at the door and your temps read normal.
And now they're serving the small chops- different servers. These ones are actually wearing their own masks but with their large nostrils in full view, gleefully distributing any and everything they might've inhaled from the other table, exhaling and collecting from yours, to distribute elsewhere. But it's cool cos you just remembered you have hand sanitizer in your bag. Coupled with that, the tables are still 2ft apart, you came in wearing a mask, you washed your hands at the door and your temp read normal.. what again??🤷ðŸ¾â€â™€ï¸
Anyways, the party is really in full swing now cos the band has rounded up, the D.J has taken over and so has the alcohol. People are now on their feet by their tables dancing in groups to the old school jams while others are trying to out-shaku themselves to Naira Marley's beats.
The 3rd set of servers, completely devoid of the face masks have begun weaving through the small tipsy crowd to distribute fish and chips. And it goes on..
All in all the event was a blast.. very well organized.. And they even paid attention to all the necessary safety protocols.
..............
2 to 4 days later, you're down with a fever, you can't smell or taste a thing and you cannot walk 3 steps without losing your breath. You're also coughing with no sense of smell and taste. Thus you begin treating yourself for malaria and flu. Because you're thinking - surely it's got to be one or the other..?? Because you never go out, the only place you've been to in the last 4 weeks, was that party at the weekend, and they were very meticulous in following the safety guidelines.. Everyone went in wearing a mask, temps were taken at the door, everyone washed and sanitized their hands before entry and the tables inside were spaced 2ft apart for effective social distancing.. so how could it possibly be COVID??🤔
Er.. Should we tell them??

Men Are Project Driven
~2.2 mins read
Men are project-driven!
A lot of ladies don't understand this truth.
Haven't you discovered that when a man is wooing you, he will pursue you morning, afternoon and night! He will carry you on his head like a looted palliative. 😆
But the moment you say YES to go into a relationship with him, the thing will just off like when NEPA take light. ðŸ˜
This is the reason: MEN ARE PROJECT-DRIVEN!
When a man is pursuing you, you become his project. The moment he eventually catches you, you stop becoming his project. He feels "Mission accomplished" and then turns to pursue another project. Men are project-driven!
But there is one VERY CRUCIAL thing you can do to remain a project to a man - very crucial! What is the thing?
GET INVOLVED IN HIS PATH
You see, a man can easily stop pursuing you after he finally catches you, but a man can never stop pursuing his vision. A man can never stop pursuing his dream!
No matter what a man pursues, he will stop pursuing it when he gets it. But he can never stop pursuing his goals, his dream, his vision. Never!
So here is the key: GET INVOLVED IN HIS DREAM, and he will pursue you and the dream together.
it is just like a man who is pursuing a moving vehicle, he will automatically be pursuing both the vehicle and the PERSON IN THE VEHICLE!
When you get involved in a man's vision, he pursues you together with his vision!
So Get involved in his work. Get involved in his business. Get involved in his dream. Get involved in his vision. Be his first fan!
You are in a relationship with a musician and he releases a song and you are not the first to listen to it..
You're in a relationship with a writer and he releases a book, and you're not the first to read it..
You're in a relationship with a man of God and you're not carrying his ministry on your head...
You're in a relationship with a man and you don't even have any idea of his plan. You don't know what steps he is planning to take.
You don't know what song he is planning to sing. You don't know what book is he planning to release. You don't know what programme is he planning to organize. You don't know what he is planning to do for his business to grow. You show no iota of concern. You're just there!
My sister, no man will ever CONTINUE pursuing a woman who is not interested in what he is interested in the most. No man!
The secret is involvement. Get involved in his path. That is the secret!
I believe you got value.

ASSUU Gives Updates On Reopening Of Universities

ASUU Gives Update on Reopening of Universities
ToriNov 19, 2020Read original
Students hoping to go back to school in 2020 have been given an update by ASUU.
ASUU
The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has said it is unsure of reopening universities this year.
This comes as talks between the Federal Government and ASUU continue to produce unproductive results.
ASUU also stated that FG was playing with future of Nigeria students, adding that the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System, IPPIS, cannot curb corruption in the university system as claimed by the government.
This was contained in a statement signed by Comrade Uzo Onyebinama, Zonal Coordinator, ASUU, Port Harcourt zone, Comrade Emmanuel Akpan, Chairperson, Federal University Otuoke (FUO) Comrade Endurance Joseph, Chairperson, Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Comrade Tonbara Kingdom, Chairperson, Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island and Comrade Austen Sado, Chairperson, University of Port Harcourt.
Speaking for the zone in Port Harcourt, the zonal coordinator, Onyebinama, sad with the attitude of the Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige, that universities would not be able to resume again in 2020.
The union coordinator said it was painful that universities have lost two academic sessions, explaining that students admitted in this academic season were yet to take their first semester examinations.
He noted that the new set of students were already waiting to be admitted, adding that when school resumed it would be difficult to manage the situation.
He said:“His (Ngige) recent comments on Channels TV is a signal that Universities cannot reopen this 2020 and this government gambling with the future of Nigerian Youths.
“The handwriting has always been on the wall about the reluctance of this government to take necessary steps to ensure that our universities reopen this year.â€
He stated that the IPPIS cannot stop corruption in the universities, stating that only Visitation Panels could do so.
Onyebinama said:“IPPIS is not the legal instrument for solving the problem of monumental fraud perpetrated by some administrators of the universities.
“IPPIS taxes rent subsidy, allowances for journals, conferences, hazard etc., as such and for instance, an Associate Professor at the bar pays a tax of about 672 thousand naira per annum.
“IPPIS breaches the due process for enrolment in the national housing scheme. IPPIS deducts pensions from the allowances earlier listed. IPPIS breaches university autonomy. IPPIS breaches the law.
“The legal instrument to probe corruption in the universities is the Visitation Panels. For almost a decade, ASUU has been clamouring for the constitution of visitation panels to federal universities.
“We are told that they are at the point of gazetting the panels for several weeks now. May they will need like another five years to do the gazetting.
He, however, advised the FG to work their talk by showing zero tolerance for corruption, even as he decried the proliferation of universities by state governors who could not sustain existing ones.
He said:“State governments are proliferating universities without adequate funding for already established ones. Most Vice -Chancellors of state universities are at the beck and call of their visitors, unable to take any decision without recourse to their visitors.â€
“This struggle is not just for ASUU members. It belongs to the Nigerian people, the masses of this country. We are already down and he that is down has no reason to fear a fall. Let us all stand up for our public universities.â€
