In addition to these, the agency apprehended six individuals involved in smuggling illicit drugs through the Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO) warehouse at Lagos airport. During a weeks-long operation, NDLEA arrested these individuals and confiscated 1,210,000 pills of Tramadol.

Further interceptions and seizures were made by NDLEA, including the discovery of 22 parcels of cocaine concealed in a carton of Aso Oke fabrics heading to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The agency also apprehended a group of blind individuals involved in an illicit drug ring between Lagos and Kano. Investigations led to the arrest of several individuals, including Bello Abubakar and Muktar Abubakar, both blind and married with children. Another blind suspect, Akilu Amadu, was also involved in this criminal trade.
In Osun, NDLEA operatives arrested Monday Sylvester on a cannabis farm covering 6.01 hectares. The farm was destroyed, and 489.8kgs of processed cannabis were recovered. Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd), commended the officers and teams from various NDLEA commands for their outstanding work in the arrests and seizures.
