Going by statistics and photos that are being released on a weekly basis by the team of the Governor of Rivers State, Barrister Nyesom Wike, in the last 7 months the governor is always commissioning one or two projects in Rivers State, reports also have it that, he has over 200 projects lined up for commissioning till 2023. Here are photos and details of some of his projects:

1, The Port Harcourt Campus of Nigerian Law School: The construction began on the 17 of July, 2021 by Governor Wike and the location of the new Campus is said to be situated at Rumueme, the project is expected to be completed and delivered in six months.

Esther Toko missed out on an automatic quarterfinal qualification at the ongoing 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games after finishing fifth in the women’s Singles Sculls of the Rowing event.

The 21-year-old Olympics debutants finished at a time of 8:58.49 at the Sea Forest Waterway early on Friday morning, thereby, leaving her to settle for a place in the Repechage as reported by Making of Champions.

The Brazil team isn't star studded like the Spanish team, but they have top quality and experienced players that can challenge for gold.

Going with a 4:4:2 formation, Brazil has Santos in the goal, while Arana, Diego Carlos, Nino and the well experienced Dani Alves are ahead of him as the back four.

In midfield, Claudinho, Douglas Luiz, Bruno Guimares and Anthony make up the four in midfield, in attack, Richarlison and Matheus Cunna are the two strike options. The experience in the Brazil team certainly gives them an edge over the Spanish and French teams.

Spain and Brazil seem to have the strongest squad in the tournament, the starting XI the three countries has enough talent and experience to cause upsets at a major tournament like the Euros, Copa America or even the World Cup.

Segun Showunmi, a former spokesman of the Abubakar Atiku Campaign Organisation, has identified Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State as a major threat to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chances of usurping the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 Presidential election.

Showunmi was speaking on Channels TV’s Politics Today on Wednesday.

“Buhari (Muhammadu) is not an issue, I will spit him out of my mouth,” Showunmi said.

“I’m worried about Governor Yahaya Bello because of some of the footprints I see him doing, he is young, and can connect to the right audience.”

Although Governor Bello has not officially declared his intention to contest in the 2023 election, he had said “all Nigerians are asking me to run for president”.

He has been hosting prominent Nigerians, especially sports stars.

PDP’s Atiku, meanwhile, is expected to vie for the top seat in Aso Rock once more, after failing in his last attempt to democratically displace President Buhari.

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, on Thursday formed a committee to look into the Sunday Igboho situation.

The 28-member think tank comprises prominent individuals from the South-West.

They will monitor Igboho’s arraignment in Benin Republic, the moves to extradite him to Nigeria and likely prosecution.
