Manchester United have officially confirmed the signing of 16-year old Marc Jurado from Barcelona and 17-year old Alvaro Fernandez from from Real Madrid. Another deal also sees Isak Hansen join up with the club from Tromso. This three additions are the latest in Manchester United's aggressive recruitment at youth level. 

That deal for Jason Sancho has yet to happen even if personal terms and agent fees have been agreed. Dortmund's £100m asking price is the only obstacle and a deal is most likely to happen if the German side will make a compromise. That is why the Star reports that the Reds are thinking of ending their interest in the 20-year-old and looking at other alternatives.

Rennes goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is all but set to join premier league side Chelsea. Italian sports journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that a bid has been accepted and the goalkeeper will fly to London for his medical in the next few days.

The summer transfer window is closer to be shut down with various teams getting down with business as they are looking to strengthen and add more depth to their current squads.
