Beginning of my journey to Lagos
The Undeserving Bride
Holy Matrimony!
Holy matrimony!
How surprised she gets it
Never withstanding the attitude of her being
Finally exalted is she
When the first becomes the last
And the last becomes the first
Oh! How unfair is life
Shall the great be deserted?
And the least exalted?
Who should be celebrated more?
In the midst of perplexity, will the truth unfold?
To the woman without
Has reality choose.
The darkest day becomes the brightest night
With shinning garment of honour
As the dreams of the deserved
Becomes the reality of the undeserved
The charming groom
A perfect nature, love unfeigned
The perfect opportunist,
Subtle and wise
The undeserving bride
Does what she wants
And cares less about the repercussions
The celebration of two becoming one
The perfect man and the unpredictable
She? Self indulgent, careless,
Calm, thinks abstract;
Unusual chill in the spine
Waiting is wasting
To the undeserving bride
Not withstanding talks
She holds strong to her man, so honest, so loyal
She came into union with or without all overwhelming odds
Not considering back talks
Who could have imagine
The undeserving bride
Gets cleaved to her man, spotless, yes! Blameless.
Who would have thought
The undeserving bride
Finds her space in his heart
Ever heard of a sheep in wolf's clothing
An angel with the face of a beast
What ties behind her person?
The emblem of goodness and chastity
Breaking the yoke of searching into now married
Thumbs up, Thumbs up!!!
To the undeserving bride.

Living a life with peace
Is still possible
Living under the same roof
With parents; still not having the outer peace.
How can a kid stay under
The same roof with parents
And still not having a free mind
How on Earth can I live generously?
Life is said to be lived happily
But in my case, it's another story
Expecting anything
Is the order of the day.
Life ain't fair, life is a cheat
Life is unfair and cruel
Life ain't freedom of a thing
Luck governs the affairs of life.
Under same roof
Being called upon in a low tone
Of miserable un- understanding silence
The irony of life is suffering.
Life they say is free
Life they say is sweet
Life they say is happiness
Life they say is stupendous .
How can a kid ever in his life gain peace
Heartbeats like that of lightning and thunder sound
Same roof with parents having no peace of mind
Suffering of a stupendous agonizing whaling from parents
Insults of scorn for no reason upon a lad
Whips of scorpion for no reason
Hard scold on a lad for no reason
Bombadad with blameless blames.
Never appreciated by parents for anything
Never in my life complemented by parents
Never in my life done anything right in their sight
One day the lad shall rise again vastly!
