After losing five Women's AFCON finals,the Banyana Banyana of South Africa finally won one, beating Zambia one nil in the semi-final before dumping the hosts of the competition Morocco in the final with a 2-1 score line.

Morocco, who had caused an upset early in the tournament by defeating the reigning champions of the tournament,the Super Falcons of Nigeria in a penalty shootout despite the latter being two men down, had failed to take their chances against South Africa and thus were roundly beaten.

After the Women's AFCON final at the Prince Moulay Abdellah stadium in Rabat on Saturday night,a few awards were given to individuals and clubs who performed exceptionally in the tournament.

South Africa's goalkeeper Andile Dlamini won the goalkeeper of the tournament after an impressive outing.

South Africa won the Fair Play Award at the tournament.

Banyana Banyana were also named the CAF National Women Team of the Year.

Morocco's Ghizlane Chebbak was named the woman of the competition.

Ghizlane Chebbak of Morocco and Rasheedat Ajibade of Nigeria won the golden boot of the tournament by netting three goals each in the tournament.

The next edition of the Women African Cup Of Nations will hopefully see the Super Falcons of Nigeria win the tournament.

As per MEN, Erik ten Hag and Sir Alex Ferguson were some of the top personalities seen making their way into the Carrington Training Complex this morning in order to discuss the matters at hand over the future of the five time ballon d'or winner.

Cristiano Ronaldo was also spotted with Richard Arnold and his football agent Jorge Mendes driving into the Carrington Training Complex in order to hold talks with Erik ten Hag over his future.

Recall that the 37 year old forward had put in a transfer request to leave Old Trafford this summer after the Red Devils failed to make the cut for the UEFA Champions League campaign next season. 

Top European clubs like Bayern Munich, Chelsea and FC Barcelona have also rejected the chance to sign the Portuguese international despite him willing to take a 30% wage cut.

As it stands,there is no news whatsoever on the agreement reached at the meeting at Carrington today,with the media still mute on the happenings around Manchester United.

To reinstate,Erik ten Hag is willing to work with Cristiano Ronaldo next season and take Manchester United back into the Champions League and win one or two trophies,with the latter reluctant to join the proposed project at Old Trafford and is instead looking for a way out of the club in order to win a few more trophies and personal awards before he hangs up his boots as a professional footballer.

As Cristiano Ronaldo's future hangs on the balance and with the uncertainty shrouding the meeting held today,here are three options available to the Portuguese international;

1. Swallow his pride and join Manchester United in the Europa League competition next season

If it comes down to the worst, Manchester United could outrightly refuse to sell Cristiano Ronaldo in the ongoing transfer window,and the forward will have to honor his one year contract at the club.

Given his age and desire to win more trophies at a top European club,this may not be the best option,but at the moment,it is the most realistic option.

2. Take a huge pay cut and sign up for a Champions League club this summer

Atletico Madrid are some of the European clubs willing to take Cristiano Ronaldo in their team and offer him Champions League football for next season with Antoine Griezmann put for sale,and Cristiano Ronaldo could take this offer if he is ready to take a large pay cut that will see him back to Spain,Madrid, Atletico Madrid specifically.

No matter the decision made by the Portuguese international,he will always be a Manchester United legend and his contributions last season will always be lauded.
