President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday in his Independence Day message, disclosed a new price for the pump price of petrol in the country.
The President in his statement said fuel will now be sold at N161 per liter in Nigeria, he added that other nations such as Ghana, Niger, Chad Saudi Arabia and other oil-producing countries sell petrol on a higher prices than Nigeria.
He condemned the past administration from 1999 to 2015 for criticising his administration when they took over power.
He further stated that no government in the past did what his administration is doing with such scarce resources.
Buhari said his government has managed to keep things going in spite of the disproportionate spending on security.
He said that the past administrations lack the effrontry to criticise the current administration because they had the opportunity to develop and take the country to a greater height.
“Those in the previous Governments from 1999-2015 who presided over the near destruction of the country have now the impudence to attempt to criticize our efforts,†he said.
Buhari said that in the circumstances, a responsible government must face realities and take tough decisions.
“Petroleum prices in Nigeria are to be adjusted. We sell now at N161 per litre. A comparison with our neighbours will illustrate the point.â€
“Chad which is an oil producing country charges N362 per litre.â€
“Niger, also an oil producing country sells 1 litre at N346.â€
“In Ghana, another oil producing country, petroleum pump price is N326 per litre.â€
“Further afield, Egypt charges N211 per litre. Saudi Arabia charges N168 per litre. It makes no sense for oil to be cheaper in Nigeria than in Saudi Arabia,†he said.

Yvonne Rofem has been widely known as the self acclaimed tallest girl in Nigeria. Personally, I have never seen Nigerian lady as tall as her. And as a supermodel, she seems to be really perfect.
My issue now is that, why is she putting on heels with all this height she has? It's really hilarious. But lovely though. There are a lot of things going through my mind right now. A lot of questions actually.
I've seen tall guys, sure. But I've never even seen a Nigerian guy as tall as she is talkless about the girls. It's really impressive.
Yvonne Rofem is from Cross Rivers State . She is over 6ft 7 inches tall. Personally, I think men will naturally find her height intimidating. And may hesitate to approach her. Hahahaha. Still, there are some men that like ladies that are taller than them.
One thing I observed is that her legs seem to be very long and this greatly contributes to her mouth-dropping height. In fact, check out these photos of Yvvone.

I saw this picture and I was like: "Wow! She's as tall as the palm kernel tree!".

Have you seen anyone as tall as this lady?
