Sexual Assault has been a difficult issue to deal with for so long. Many people around the world have taken a step to fight this disturbing issue. As April a month of sexual assault awareness people are sending a bold message to the world concerning the sexual violence issues.

"The aim of this campaign is to clear the misconceptions around sexual assault by hosting seminars and events that highlight the problem in society and encourage survivors to gain the confidence back". Sexual violence, sexual assault and sexual harassment are important to understand. Barbara Williams the operations manager at Rape crisis clarified some misconceptions concerning different types of sexual offences.
Regardless of the victim's connection to the perpetrators, sexual assault include any act or effort to procure a sexual through violence or force, actions,tone and action to traffic a person,or actions aimed against a person's sexuality. There are also brave men who try so hard to protect women from their abusive partners such as Ndlebe and Masukume who encourage men to stand up together and protect women.
These men encourage that there should be organisations where men discuss and teach young men the values of women in our communities. Masukume who is a father of six ,once saved a 45 year old women who was being raped by two young men,he was stabbed multiple times while fighting them off. He added saying "Because I have children back home I could not leave her there, knowing she's someone's mother or daughter and besides,back home we are taught never to hurt a woman. William also added that it is important to support survivors in their journeys and avoid rape jokes or gender based violence jokes in our social groups.

A building in Johannesburg CBD was seen gushing flames of fire at Jeppe eloff street. The emergency services were on the scene trying to contain the blaze, and traffic was diverted around with several roads clkssed off to avoid people being at danger of this unfortunate scene. It is said that the fire affected the cellphone shop and a clothing store, but the rest of the building was not affected. It is said that the fire was put off before affecting the residential area. And no injuries were reported so far.

Johannesburg Emergency Service is investigating the cause of the fire which put over 200 people on the streets for hours. Some believe it could be an electrical fault which has caused the fire. Joburg EMS spokesperson, Robert Mulaudzi said " We are currently attending the building and there are no injuries and we are investigating the cause of the fire blazeat Jeppe eloffstrret at Johannesburg.
