He was the fall in winter snow,

The beauty in autumn leaves.

Like the falling stars,

Driving into cold ocean waves,

he was the flower that wiltered before blooming.

Let him enjoy the luxury of being hurtful,

and thank the heaven for being joyful.

Let his smile wraps up his heart, like the siren in odysseus tale.

To the ashes of his past, 

he bid farewell.

Drenched in his reality,

Castaway on an island were reroute is of no hand.

left unwanted,

Discarded and polluted,

Like the unsaid goodbye in sunset and the painful memories that comes around it.

Like the fairy who never stayed, 

and the untold tales in moonlight —

he said,

Keep me in your heart 

and I'll keep you 

in my poetry.

Even if my memory

Leave me,

I will always remember you.

When your emptiness 

finally find you,

and happiness 

gone abyss,

Then you'd remember 

that someday,

Like today —

Just like happiness,

You'll also leave.

Mr Wilson Uwujaren, the Head of Media and Public Affairs of the commission, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Abuja that Idris was released after meeting his bail conditions.

 

“I actually do not have an idea of what the bail conditions are, but all I can tell you is that he has been released after meeting his bail conditions,”

 

He said.

 

Recall that the former Accountant-General was arrested on May 16 by the EFCC over alleged diversion and laundering of N80 billion.

 

The EFCC said verified intelligence reports showed that Idris raked off the funds through bogus consultancies and other illegal activities using proxies, family members and close associates.

 

 

The commission said the funds were laundered through real estate investments in Kano and Abuja.

 

It said Idris was arrested after he failed to honour invitations by the commission to respond to issues connected to the alleged fraudulent acts.
