WBC champ Deontay Wilder boasts a better KO record than boxing legend Mike Tyson in a side-by-side comparison of their first 42 professional bouts.
The 34-year-old KO artist is preparing for his 43rd fight on Saturday when he rematches Cuban star Luis Ortiz at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
And Wilder holds an impressive 41 wins out of his 42 professional fights and picked up a controversial draw against Tyson Fury in 2018.
Ahead of his clash with Ortiz, ESPN dropped a stat comparison between the 'Bronze Bomber' and Tyson.
'Iron Mike' competed in 42 professional bouts by the age of 24, with Wilder notching his 42-fight record up at the age of 34.
But Tyson, who was the youngest boxer to win a heavyweight title, suffered one defeat in his first 42 fights as Buster Douglas caused a stunning upset in their 1990 clash.
Wilder can also boast a superior knockout record over the 'Baddest Man on the Planet' with his 40 KOs against Tyson's 36 at the time.
