18-year-old Suspect On The Run After Putting Viagra In Church Water Tanks

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has launched a manhunt for a Bulawayo teen who mischievously sprinkled Viagra in a church water tank during a service.
The suspect has been identified as 18-year-old Tracy Sibanda, and she reportedly carried this out at the Church of International Disciples in Thorngrove, Bulawayo, during the Easter celebration.

Dog Rescues Newborn Baby Abandoned In Anambra Forest

A Dog said to be foraging for food retrieved a newborn baby boy dumped in a forest in Abagana community, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.
A Source told the Nigerian Tribune that the stray dog carried the infant across a busy road and placed it in a public area, seemingly for passersby to notice and rescue him.
“The dog found the baby in a plastic bag that had been abandoned in the forest. Based on our observations, it seems the baby may have been left in the forest for about two days before the dog discovered him,” the source said.
"The baby is in good condition; he is stable,” the source added.
A Video posted online shows a woman cleansing the baby while condemning the unknown person(s) who abandoned the child in the forest to be devoured by wild animals.
The woman expressed disbelief at how a mother could carry a baby for nine months only to abandon him.

Lamido To Wike: Stop Complaining About PDP Primary, Be Like Osinbajo, Amaechi -

Sule Lamido, former governor of Jigawa, has asked Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers, to stop complaining about the outcome of the presidential primary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Lamido spoke in an interview with THISDAY, which was published on Sunday.
In May, former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar won the PDP presidential ticket after he polled 371 votes, while Wike, his closest challenger, secured 237 votes.
Prior to the selection of a running mate, many believed that Wike would be favoured by Atiku but the former VP picked Ifeanyi Okowa, governor of Delta.
Explaining the rationale behind his decision, Atiku said he chose someone he could work with amicably.
Wike subsequently reacted by saying the former vice-president “told many lies”.
Speaking on the development, Lamido, a PDP chieftain, advised Wike to learn from Peter Odili, a former Rivers governor, who did not get the PDP presidential ticket for the 2007 election.
Lamido also said Wike should emulate Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and Rotimi Amaechi, former minister of transportation, who both lost the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary.
“A day to the PDP’s presidential convention, which Peter Odili of Rivers State was bound to win and was also bound to win the presidential election, he was stopped by the party which went on to nominate President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, who did not even show interest,” Lamido said.
“He was promised a vice presidential ticket and yet he was not given. He took everything as the mature man he is.
“Look at the APC, Vice-President Osinbajo was humiliated; the senate president was also humiliated and even his countryman, Amaechi was given the same treatment; they took it as mature men and did not go about complaining as Wike is doing. This is called maturity.
“Do you know why? This is because the party is supreme. You cannot be bigger than your party. Party is organic. The convention has come and gone.
“Osinbajo, Lawan and Amaechi have shown maturity because their party has spoken. If Wike is in the APC will he be talking and behaving as he is doing now?
“When I say that the party is supreme, I mean that the PDP is an organic party. Many people defected to the APC in 2015, but the PDP remained strong because it is organic with root structures; it is not a one-man party.
“Wike should show maturity as the matter is no longer between him and Atiku. Atiku is now the PDP candidate; whatever he is doing now is not a fight against Atiku but the party. The party made him.
“Let him learn from his former boss, Peter Odili. He will tell him a story that is so touching because I have never seen a person who was cheated on and who was so denied as Peter Odili.
“The man is so humble, so tolerant. I mean he is everything good. Wike offered himself to be elected. I came from the old order that respects political party culture. His candidate for the governorship in Rivers state was imposed by him.
“Others wanted to be governor; have they reconciled? The guy he imposed won the governorship ticket at the congress. Who offended Wike? Did the convention offend Wike? How? There is no reconciliation. He is a party man and after the convention, he said the process was very credible. He said so.”
On the claim by Wike that Atiku lied, Lamido said: “Even at that, it is against our culture to openly call an elder a liar. It is not part of our culture – or to call some people his attack dogs. If he has not been using attack dogs on some persons, how does he know that others are attack dogs? Wike should show maturity,” Lamido added.

Family Honors Woman's Dying Wish, Erects Giant Penis On Her Grave

A nan has had the honour of a lifetime after her family rallied together and erected a penis onto the top of her gravestone, in what they say was 'her dying wish'
A nan has shocked locals after a 600-pound willy statue appeared on the top of her gravestone, which her family says was "her dying wish".
The gravestone, which tends to represent the person buried there, caused quite the stir as Catarina, a 99-year-old grandmother, had her piece unveiled.
While traditional crosses or towers weren't on the mind of the 99-year-old, it would appear that a massive penis was, with the monument erected on top of the headstone - making for quite the memorial.
Grandmother Catarina had reportedly always wanted a penis on the top of her grave and her family were happy to oblige, ordering a specialist to mould the member and place it on the grave.
The massive stone member has been called a "recognition of her love and joy for life," as grandmother Catarina enjoyed calling the family "verga," a Mexican slang word which translates to "c*ck".
Grandson Álvaro Mota Limón says that when his grandmother used the word, she meant for the usually-vicious insult to be a compliment.
Limón said that his 99-year-old grandmother meant it to mean "integrity, courage, passion, and at the same time, love and joy".
That love and joy is now centre stage on the gravestone, protruding from the peak of the shrine to Catarina's life
Despite the bizarre request, the family obliged and planted a penis on top of her gravestone monument, much to the delight of locals.
Isidro Lavoignet was the engineer behind the bizarre penis piece and says he has been sent some unusual gravestone requests in his day, with families wanting to stick strange, unique pieces to the headstone.

Chess Robot Grabs Boy's Hand & BREAKS His Finger During Tournament

A child's finger was broken by a chess robot last week, and the incident was caught on CCTV at a competition in Russia.
According to Russian media reports, who cited the President of the Moscow Chess Federation, who appeared to place the blame on the youngster, the robot grabbed the seven-year-old boy's finger because it was bewildered by his excessively swift moves.
Sergey Lazarev distanced his organization from the robot and said, "The robot fractured the child's finger — this, of course, is horrible."
On July 19, the event happened at the Moscow Open. According to Lazarev, the federation had rented the robot for the July 13–21 event.
Lazarev claimed that the equipment had been used for numerous occasions in the past without mishap, claiming that the boy rushed to move a piece after making a move.
We rented the robot, which has been on display for a while with experts in several locations. It appears that the operators failed to notice it, Lazarev added.
"The child moved, and we need to allow the robot time to respond. However, the boy hurried, and the robot grabbed him." The robot has nothing to do with us.
The Baza Telegram channel released video of the incident and identified the youngster as Christopher. Baza claimed that he was one of the top 30 under-nine age group chess players in Moscow.
The Russian Chess Federation's vice-president, Sergey Smagin, allegedly went even further in condemning the youngster, according to The Guardian.
There are several safety regulations, and it appears that the child disregarded them. He did not realize that he needed to wait before moving," Smagin was quoted in The Guardian as stating. This is a very unusual case—the first one I can recall.
The video depicts the robot, which consists of a single mechanical arm with numerous joints and a "hand," as being in the center of a table with three separate chess boards surrounding it. Its AI purportedly has the ability to play three games simultaneously.
The video begins with the robot picking up a piece from the board and dropping it into a box off to the side, which is used to hold the game's discards. It was recorded by a camera over the boy's shoulder.
The young youngster reaches as it does to make his subsequent motion. The boy's finger, however, appears to be mistaken by the robot for a chess piece, and it gets grabbed in its place.
The boy's finger is grabbed by the mechanical arms, which then become stuck and trap him. This causes him to become terrified. He receives assistance from several individuals who are gathered around the table and, after a brief struggle, they are able to liberate him from the robot's hold.
The youngster was able to return to the contest the next day in a case, according to Lazarev, who claimed that the boy finished the competition.
He did, however, tell TASS that Moskomsport—the Department of Sport for the Russian capital—had contacted his organization and that the boy's parents had spoken with the public prosecutor's office about the incident.
In addition to promising to assist the family "in any way we can," he issued a warning to the robot's operators, advising them to "consider about increasing protection so that this situation does not happen again."
The occurrence was a coincidence, Smagin told RIA Novosti, adding that the robot is "totally safe," according to The Guardian.

Man Shot After Allegedly Crushing Policeman With His Car In Enugu (Video)

Officers of the Enugu State Police Command have shot a motorist, Christian Ogwuike, after he allegedly crushed a policeman at a checkpoint, NaijaCover Reports.
From The Information Gathered By NaijaCover, Ogwuike was with his fiancée in a Lexus SUV on Thursday, July 21, 2022, when they met some policemen at the Monkey Roundabout close to the Zonal Office of the Economic Financial Crimes Commission.
A Source, who claimed to have witnessed the incident, told Punch that the police shot the motorist when he refused to give a bribe.
He said: "When he stopped, one of the policemen, who were six at the time, asked him to clear from the road and come down. I don’t know what transpired again, but I saw when they started shouting. I overheard the guy saying he won’t give them N5,000.
"The next thing I saw was when the policemen dragged the guy out of his car and shot him pointblank. They also demobilised his car and took him away."

Reacting to the Incident on Sunday, July 24, the Enugu State Police Command confirmed the shooting, but said Ogwunike knocked down an officer.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, Daniel Ndukwe, said: "On July 21, 2022, around 2pm, a team of police operatives serving in No. 3 PMF Enugu, while on routine stop and search duty at the EFCC Roundabout, Independence Layout, flagged down the driver of a Lexus saloon car.
"The Driver, rather than stop, recklessly zoomed off, knocking down one of the operatives and pulling him along to a distance of about four poles, before he was forced to stop by other members of the team, who immediately went after him.
"In the bid to restrain the driver from further escape, one of the operatives fired a knee-level shot, which got him (driver) in the thigh.
"The Policeman, Inspector Aneka Ndayi, who sustained severe bodily injuries, and the said driver, Ogwuike Christian, were both moved to a hospital and are responding to treatment and in a stable condition."
He Said the Enugu state Commissioner of Police, CP Abubakar Lawal, had ordered the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department to thoroughly investigate the incident and come up with actionable findings.
