Offer To Be Submitted As Man Utd Look To Sign Key Target For Initial £65m Fee

Manchester United are set to table an offer worth £65m up front plus £25m in add-ons as they look to finally sign Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho, according to the Daily Mail.
United have been after Sancho throughout the summer after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer identified the 20-year-old as his prime transfer target as he looks to build a squad capable of competing with the likes of Liverpool and Man City this season.
The Red Devils have so far been frustrated in their attempts to sign Sancho as Borussia Dortmund have refused to lower their well publicised £108m valuation and insist the player is staying after a deal wasn’t agreed by their August 10th deadline.
However, that isn’t going to deter Manchester United and the Daily Mail claims they will submit a formal offer worth £65m up front plus £25m in achievable add-ons over the coming days as they look to pull-off a late swoop for the youngster.
That deal would be worth £90m if the add-ons are met but it still falls short of Dortmund’s asking price so United are hoping the German giants will cave and lower their demands during the closing stages of the window.
The Daily Star claims that United have already agreed personal terms with Sancho’s agent Emeka Obasi over a long-term contract worth around £175,000-a-week so all that remains is for a fee to be agreed between the two clubs.
If a deal for Sancho cannot be found, the Daily Mail says Man Utd will turn to alternative targets such as Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik, Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic or Juventus winger Douglas Costa.
We’ll have to wait and see how things develop but it’s going to be a fascinating few days and it will be interesting to see whether United are able to get this proposed move for Sancho over the line before the window closes on October 5th.
The England international would be a superb signing as he’s developed into one of the most exciting youngsters in world football since joining Dortmund from Man City three years ago.
Sancho provided 20 goals and 20 assists for Dortmund last season so he’d be a real threat in the final third and would compliment the likes of Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood at Old Trafford.

Nigerian music star, Zlatan Ibile, has attacked most recently evicted Big Brother Naija Lockdown housemate, Ozo.
Zlatan said that Ozo is foolish for totally diverting his attention from the N85 million grand prize because of a woman.
Ozo, who was evicted from the Big Brother Naija Lockdown house last Sunday, spent most of his time in the reality TV show chasing the Bayelsa-born fair-skinned housemate, Nengi.
While his attitude angered many, others applauded him for being real, but Zlatan believes he was actually foolish.
“Ozo is ‘mumu’ [foolish], he followed woman and forgot N85 million Naira,†Zlatan rapped in a new song.
Recall that during the Big Brother Naija season 4, Zlatan had a line in his song where he described a female housemate as being a dirty girl and later apologised for the comment after a series of backlash on social media.

Big Brother Naija housemate, Dorathy has revealed that her feelings towards Ozo have always been based on a brother and sister relationship.
Dorathy, while having a discussion with Nengi on Wednesday night, said she wanted to clear the misconceptions about the relationship they shared with Ozo.
According to her, she never had any discussions about dating with Ozo.
She also said that he made it clear from the start that Nengi was the only girl in the house he had intimate feelings for.
“We had a brother and sister friendship.
“It never occurred to me that people thought we were in a relationship.
“Whenever we had a conversation, it was always about his sisters and never had a discussion about a relationship coming up between us.

Big Brother Naija, BBNaija housemate, Dorathy has given reason she distanced herself from Nengi.
Nengi on Wednesday night during a conversation with Dorathy asked her why she stopped being her friend.
Dorathy, responding, explained that she did not like Nengi’s game and felt she was seeking attention from all male housemates.
She, however, apologised to Nengi for judging her wrongly from afar without having a conversation with her.
Dorathy added that she also did not want to be seen as the one obstructing the relationship between Ozo and Nengi.
She said: “I distanced myself from you because I didn’t like your game.
“I read the situation wrongly and felt you were playing a game of trying to get attention and have all the male housemates.
“There was also a miscommunication too. I hated how I was being referred to as the one causing problems between you and Ozo.

Liverpool join Man Utd in holding talks over deal to sign £92m-rated attacker
Liverpool have joined Manchester United in holding talks with Barcelona over a potential deal to sign £92m-rated attacker Ousmane Dembele this summer, according to reports.
Dembele was once regarded as one of the most exciting young talents in world football but has struggled to live up to that tag since joining Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund in a big-money transfer in 2017.
The Frenchman’s time in Spain has been hampered by a number of injury problems and he was restricted to making just 5 starts in all competitions last season, so Barcelona are now ready to cut their loses.
The situation has seemingly alerted Manchester United as the Daily Record claimed on Tuesday that the Red Devils are in talks with Barca over a potential deal having identified Dembele as an alternative target to Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.
The newspaper says United would prefer a simple one-year loan deal but Barca are wanting at least an obligation to buy clause including in any loan deal or ideally a straight sale with the Catalans valuing Dembele at £92m [€100m].
However, it looks like Man Utd face stiff competition as France Football claims the Premier League champions are also in negotiations with Barcelona over a possible deal to sign Dembele this summer
Once again, the French outlet says Liverpool are looking to sign the 23-year-old on a season long loan with Jurgen Klopp keen to lure Dembele to Anfield despite signing attacker Diogo Joto from Wolves this month.
Jota was signed to support the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino this season but the report suggests that Klopp still wants to further strengthen his forward line ahead of a gruelling campaign.
France Football claims that Ronald Koeman wants to keep Dembele at the Nou Camp this season but the Daily Record suggests that Barcelona chiefs are willing to offload the attacker to help ease financial issues at the club as they look to cut 30% of their wage bill.
We’ll have to wait and see how negotiations progress over the coming days but I highly doubt we’ll see Liverpool or United agree to pay anywhere near £92m for Dembele so Barcelona are either going to have to lower their demands or accept an initial loan deal.
Dembele has had his injury problems over the past few years but he would be a superb signing for Liverpool or United if they could keep him fit, so it could be a shrewd piece of business if either club was able to land him on loan.
