On the long run, they decided to take it to the next level by paying damages and labola for impregnating their daughter. She took him to her parents place, introduced himself but the family of the deceased started crying uncontrollably. At first, he was confused as to what the problem was. The girl got seated their uttering no word.

Her father told him their child had passed away 6 years ago, while they took him to her grave and at her tombstone was the jacket he had bought for her, the one she wore on her way to her parents house, her favorite jacket.

10 Reasons Why Obaseki Will Win Edo September Elections

The Edo gubernatorial elections have been slayed for 19th September 2020 and the major contenders are Incumbent Governor, His Excellency, Godwin Obaseki of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

In my opinion, I feel Obaseki has done more than enough and deserves reelection, presented below are 10 reasons why I feel he would emerge victorious in the September polls in Edo state:

1) Prompt Payment of Civil servant's Salary and Pensioners allowance:

Since assumption into office, Godiwn Obaseki is one of the Governors in Nigeria that has been up and doing as regards workers welfare. He pays salaries even before the month comes to an end, I believe the civil servants in the state would want to reelect him back to office for another four years.

2) Rural Power And Electrification Projects:

Specifically, the people of Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo state will forever be grateful to Godwin Obaseki and much more would vote massively for him after building in that local government area a 55 megawatt power plant, Emotan garden estate, modular refinery and completed road and school projects.

3) Road Projects across Oredo Local Government

Apart from revamping the energy sector and creating jobs, Godwin Obaseki is also another Mr Project. The people of Iyekogba in Oredo local government area would be appreciative of their Governor after constructing roads from Irhirhi, Aruogba, Ogheghe to Benin-Sapele road.

4) Revamp of GRA

For more than 8 years before Godwin Obaseki assumed office as Governor, GRA roads were neglected. However, under 4 years Obaseki came to reconstruct the bad roads and with a massive drainage from Amagba through Ogumwenyin,Ugbor, Gapiona, Ekhaguere, Irhirhi to Ogba River.
