After games were suspended last weekend, due to the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. The best league in the world, according to many is back.
As I'm writing this, we've already enjoyed some very entertaining games, with Haaland scoring as Man City dismantled Wolves. Heung Min Son getting his season underway with a brilliant hat trick, as the Spurs demolished Leicester 6-2, as the foxes continue to struggle finding form. Newcastle drew with Bournemouth in a game the Magpies will feel like they dropped 2 points.
Now we go on to Sundays games with the following teams facing each other:
Brentford v Arsenal
Everton v West Ham

At Least 130 Killed In Floods In Sudan

Heavy rains usually fall between May and October in Sudan, which faces severe flooding each year, wrecking property, infrastructure and crops.
The National Council for Civil Defence said the floods have killed a total of 134 people, left 120 others injured, and damaged or destroyed more than 128,000 homes so far this wet season. Water can be seen engulfing villages and roads in footage of the flooding aired on state television.

Queen Elizabeth II Died At A Very Young Age According To Ugandan Legislator

The Ugandan Parliament held a special session to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II after she died.
It lasted for 2 hours.
Ugandan Lawmaker, Jonathan Ebwalu said she died at only 96, at the time the world needed her most.
The Soroti City West Mp statements attracted laughter from the chamber. Additionally, female lawmakers said that the Queen was an inspiration to women in leadership.

Transport Strike Is Finally Over!!

The GambiaTransport Union has now called off the industrial action embarked upon by the Union on 12th September 2022.
The Union yesterday announced that the decision has been reached upon intervention by various institutions and individuals; Gambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Supreme Islamic Council National, Human Rights Commission, TANGO, Gambia Press Union, Peace Ambassadors, and individuals in and outside the country.
The strike lasted all of 3 days, but both drivers and civilians will be glad to see the end of it.
