According to what we are seen across all social media platform, it's shows that many Nigerians are not happy about today's celebration, they are saying Nigeria is not worth celebrating.
Nigeria has been counting losses and no gains, according to ohanaeze Ndigbo, there are virtually nothing to celebrate at the 60th anniversary of Nigeria.
According to Prince Uche Achi Okpaga, the General Secretary of the body, he said that Nigeria has gone more backward that forward.
"There is virtually nothing to celebrate at the 60th anniversary of Nigeria. A civil servants l retires at the age of 60. This means that at that age such retires has offer the best of his/her services and initiatives.
"But that's not the case of Nigeria, @60 Nigeria is still counting losses instead of gains.
Today Boko Haram, bandits and Fulani heardsmen are killing millitary officers, citizens are being killed everyday and we are one of the most Distinguished country that send troops to trouble Country and we couldn't even solve our own problem.
So what are we celebrating?

BREAKING: FIRE GUTS INEC'S HEAD OFFICE IN ONDO A MONTH TO GUBERNATORIAL ELECTIONS

The Ondo State Head Office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Thursday has been gutted by fire, a month to the state's gubernatorial election.
The fire which began around 8 pm engulfed the container housing Smart card readers, the Electoral Commission said.
A statement released by INEC states that the National Commissioner, Barrister Festus Okoye has promised to promptly investigate the cause of the fire.
Ondo State governorship election is scheduled for October 10, 2020

CONTROVERSIES SURROUND THE KILLING OF BENUE NOTORIOUS MILITIA LEADER GANA

The Nigeria Army on Tuesday killed Notorious militia leader, Terwase Akwaza also known as Gana.
Gana was killed in a firefight with military personnel on Tuesday, September 8, the Nigeria military told.
However, Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom allege that soldiers snatched Gana from a government convoy at Maseje in Gboko local government area while he and other repentant youths were on their way to Makurdi where they were to be given amnesty by the State Security Council.
Governor Ortom told journalists that out of 172 repented militia youths who had agreed to give peace a chance and surrender their arms, only 42 made it to Makurdi following Gana’s killing.
Gana was offered amnesty by the Benue State Government In 2015 but resumed his criminal activities.
In 2017, the Benue State Government placed a N10 million naira bounty on him for offences ranging from killing, kidnapping, and arson.

Nigeria army record another victory against banditry as they neutralize armed bandits in Benue
In their continuation of the aggressive kinetic Operations against armed banditry, cattle rustling and other sundry Crimes in the North Central zone of Nigeria, the troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE have Arrested 4 armed bandits and recovered arms and Ammunition during two daring raids at identified bandits camps.
In one of the raid Operation conducted yesterday, 6 September, 2020, troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE deployed at Guma in Benue State and Keana in Nasarawa State conducted a dawn raid at identified armed bandits camp at Guma forest along the Benue - Nasarawa birder Following actionable intelligence reports on the location of the camp.
The gallant troops of operation WHIRL STROKE stormed the bandits camp and engaged them in a firefight, overwhelming then with superior fire.
In the process, troops were able to neutralized one bandit while other fled with gunshot wounds into the forest. Troops so recovered 1 AK- 47 rifle, 1 AK-47 rifle Magazine, 1 locally made pistol and 3 mobile phones at the scene while the camp was subsequently destroyed.
Another raid conducted by the troops deployed at sector 1 Gagbe in Feet West local government Area of Benue State on another suspected armed bandits hideout at Tse Agi in the general area.
The troops stormed the hideout and apprehended 4 suspects at the scene while 1 AK-47 rifle, 2 AK-47 rifle Magazines and 46 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition were also recoverd at the scene. The hideouts was also destroyed while the suspects are currently being profiled after which they will be handed over to the appropriate prosecuting agency for further action.
The Military High Command appreciates the general public for their cooperation in providing credible information which has so far facilitated the successes of the operations.
The Armed Forces of Nigeria assures that these offensives against the common enemies of this Nation will not cease until normalcy is restored to all the troubled zones of the Country.

The Nigerian government on Friday said it has received samples of Russia’s COVID-19 vaccine.
Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire received the samples from the Russia Ambassador to Nigeria, Alexey Shebarshin, during a visit to the ministry in Abuja, on Friday.
The ministry’s Director of Information, Media, and Public Relations, Olujimi Oyetomi disclosed this in a statement.
“Russian Federation Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E. Alexey L. Shebarshin on courtesy visit to Nigeria’s Health Ministers, Russian-made COVID-19 Vaccine finally here,†the statement said

data.Killing is a great sin in front of The God, whether you are Muslims or Christians, God forbid killings of fellow human beings, both Christianity and Islam does not support killings of each other.
If someone is killing fellow human being when God forbid it, then such person is not a true believer.
According to the Bible:
In Matthew 5:21 God says;
“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’
According to Qur'an:
In Qur'an 5:32:
“For that cause We decreed for the Children of Israel that whosoever killeth a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind, and whoso saveth the life of one. It shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind. Our messengers came unto them of old with clear proofs (of Allah’s sovereignty), but afterwards lo! Many of them become prodigals of the earth.â€
You can now see that's both religion forbids violence, or killings of one another, lets us come together to fight there people causing problems in our society.
Let's look at the case of Boko Haram in Nigeria, they said they are fighting because God forbid western Education.
But in one of the hadith (sayings of the prophet Muhammed) he said God directed us to look for knowledge right from when we've matured till when we died, he said knowledge not Qur'an knowledge alone, he generalize it.
This Boko Haram are killing everybody, both Muslims and Christians.
As we all know that, they are operating mostly in the Northern part of Nigeria, and talking about North West re talking about Hausa's they carry the major percentage, and most Hausa are Muslims, at least like 90% of them are, let's now look at it, they are fighting for Islam and killing Muslims, it's doesn't make sense.
Please let's all fight this people by coming together, we shouldn't allow them to divide us no More.

Farmer Arrested For Killing A Fulani Headsmen In Ogbomoso By NSCDC

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested a 27 years old farmer for killing a Fulani herdsmen identified as Shuaibu Adamu.
It was reported that Adamu allowed his cattle to graze on the suspect farm at Elega village, Ikoyi, in Ogbomosho, Oyo State.
Oluwole Olusegun, the spokesperson for the NSCDC, confirmed the incident and the arrest of the farmer in a statement.
The Commandant of NSCDC in Oyo State Iskilu Akinsanya was quoted in the statement has saying that the suspect, a native of Ogbomoso, Was arrested of Friday by the Agro Ranger Squad of the Corps.
According to the statement, the items recovered from the suspect as of the time he was arrested include tools, such as scissors, hammer, saw and nail remover as well as mosquito net, three ATM cards and two apprentice identification cards.
The suspect was later handed over to the Oyo State Police Command for further investigation and prosecution.
