Publisher of Leadership newspaper, Nda-Isaiah is dead, President Buhari reacts

A former presidential aspirant and publisher of Leadership newspaper, Sam Nda-Isaiah, is dead.

The newspaper organisation confirmed that the pharmacist and journalist died on Friday “after a very brief illness.”

Reacting to the sad news, a statement from the presidency said that President Muhammadu Buhari expressed shock and sadness.

The President further described NDA-Isaiah as “a friend and ally.”

In a press statement signed by Femi Adesina, his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Buhari condoled with the media fraternity, family, friends and associates of the deceased

Look At What Buhari Said About CNN And BBC Media Coverage Of EndSARS Violence That Got People Talking 

 

Nigeria President, President Muhammadu Buhari was disgusted over foreign media coverage on EndSARS violence which have been portraying only on protesters who lost their lives especially in the #Lekkimassacre that occurred on the night of 20 October 2020.
 
 
 
 
After the massacre, so many attacks were made on public facilities, police officers were beaten, killed and many police stations were set ablaze during that period 
 
 
 
President Muhammedu Buhari is not pleased that CNN and BBC are only focusing on the #EndSARS protesters while leaving officers that were killed and police stations that were burnt down by hoodlums out of the pictures of the incidents. 
 
According to his official twitter account handle, Mr. President released a statement on how he felt disgusted by what he considered to be unbalanced.

"It must be said that foreign press coverage of the ENDSARS violence was not balanced, especially from CNN and BBC. I was disgusted by the coverage, which did not give attention to the policemen that were killed, the stations that were burnt, and prisons that were opened."
