REVENGE

CHAPTER 2

With an evil grin, I went into our room, and with all the pain and hatred I could master, I decended the cow skin whip on his naked ass.

Oh how sweet to the ears were his screams that came out as a whisper .

Then I decended again, again, again and again until I had vented all the pent up pain and anger I had in me.

And for the first time I saw my husband shed tears, this wicked man was crying.
I looked at his back and saw the marks caused by the koboko, his skin around his ass was peeling and I could see blood oosing out.

Now you think at this point I would have been satisfied.

Well you're wrong.

Immediately I had flashes of when he used belt to whip me because I was too weak to wash his and his side chick clothes, he called me lazy and kicked me in the stomach.

So I dropped the koboko, open his wardrobe and pick his leather belt and whip him with it to my satisfaction.

Throw that awey and started hitting him with my hands.
Cursing him and ranting like a mad woman.

Let him know how it feels to be beaten by a woman.

When I was done ,I covered his ass with a cloth then I went into the children's room, woke those spoilt brats and brought them to our room.

Then I beat them all infront of their father and he could not do anything about it.

I ensured I reminded them of the mistakes they committed that warrant the beating.

When I was done beating them, I felt at ease, I felt peace.

I didn't sleep in my room but in the children room after beating them again to keep quiet and sleep.

The next morning, I took the kids, put them in the vehicle with their laugage and drove them to my parents house to stay until I get the house I plan on renting.

This is to start a new life without that dictator.

After reaching my friends house, I called my husband friends told them where the keys were for them to go and release their friend from the hand curffs and chains.

I had already contacted my lawyer to send him the divorce papers and some people at human right affairs to ensure he carries out his responsibility as a father to his children and have custody for the kids.

I was ready mentally and financially to drag him to court.

He will see confirm yoruba madness.

The marriage for me was over and gone.

Months later

One beautiful Saturday morning I saw Femi at my parents house in tears, the mighty man was apologizing for his mistake and want us to come back together.

I must be dreaming, that arrogant man. I didn't trust him so I refused, but he didn't stop, he was buying gift and acting like a normal human being.

I didn't see that violent or stone hearted man again.

I moved back in finally and it has been bliss. I am now in control of my home and I like this new Femi.

Moral lesson: Vawulence is the answer to many things, beat that your woman beating husband and show him pepper.

Madness and vawulence answerth it all.
#Peace is not an option

REVENGE
CHAPTER 1

"Ahhhh, Bidemi you have suffered"I thought to myself.

What type of marriage is this?

A man I call my husband has ridiculed me to the point that I can't scold my kids again?

Tonight was the hight of it all.
Femi raised his hand and hit me infront of my 5yr old son because I scolded him from taking meat from my pot without permission.

Now I am a punching bag for both my husband and those spoilt brats I gave birth to.

No I will not take it, I am tired of trying to save a marriage that wants to kill me.

Femi will pay. He must pay for this insult.

I came up with a plan to teach Femi a lesson.

I already know my husband weakness.

I waited patiently for his return to execute my plan.

The day he was to arrive came.
He was going to come home late so I ensured I put those spoilt brats to bed early.

Wearing those red lingerie I waited patiently for his return.

He came in, I welcomed him with all courage I could master.

"How are my kids" he asked as if they're not mine too.

"They're fine and I put them to bed early , for us to have alone time without disturbance"

"Ok then get me my food" He ordered. I shaked my head, he didn't even compliment the lingerie, anyways I don't care anymore. My plan is already in motion.

I served him the food, he ate , no thank you as usual or even compliment.

I cleared the plate , he didn't even wait for me to be done before he grabbed me and pin me on the bed then tore my lingerie.

He has always been a violent lover, always take things by force. Nothing soft or kind about him.

And immediately he was out like a lamp. The sedative worked like a charm.

I went under the bed and brought out the chains and handcuffs.

I handcuffed his both hands with his belly on the bed , naked with his bare bum.

The chains were to chain his legs to the stand of the bed.

Opening his mouth , I put a cloth and tie his mouth to ensure no sound will come out and disturb the neighbors.

When I was done, I went to the backyard and brought the koboko that I had soaked for days in water i mixed with pepper.

How husband caught with side chic announced wife’s death –Brother,

Chibuzor Opara is an elder brother of the late Claret Opara-Bassey, a Calabar-based lawyer who reportedly died in a crash while chasing her husband who fled when she saw him with his alleged lover on Sunday, September 18. Opara speaks to ALEXANDER OKERE about the tragic incident

How are you related to the deceased?

I am her elder brother. I am the seventh child in the family. She was the ninth. We are 10 siblings.

Tell us more about the late Claret.

She was a lawyer. She was practising in Calabar. She was a very vibrant and jovial woman. She was a good sister. She was tolerant.

Is it true that the man identified by media reports as Sunday Bassey, who she was running after before the fatal crash, is her husband?

Of course.

For how long were they married?

It should be more than 15 years.

How many children do they have?

They have three intelligent and beautiful children. The first should be more than 15 years old.

Did she ever complain to you about her husband or accuse him of not behaving responsibly?

Let me put it this way, in marriages, there are challenges. There will be disagreements. Maybe with her knowledge of my previous temperament, she was not telling me much.

Why did you say so? Was she concerned that you might overreact?

Perhaps, there was a time I heard about a disagreement she had with her husband and I told her that I would go to Calabar and confront her husband but she told me not to come. I know the husband but she advised me to let it be.

What do you know about the husband?

What I mean is we are friends. From my knowledge of him, he is lively to an extent. We take our in-laws as part of our family.

Did she complain to you or the family about her husband cheating on her?

Cheating? My sister knew that he was cheating. She did not actually tell me as a complaint but in passing, she mentioned that.

Did she specifically tell you what she observed?

The way she spoke about it showed that she knew that he sometimes engaged his female friends. My sister knew that her husband, from time to time, was cheating.

Do you know for how long he had been doing that?

I think it was two years ago that I heard her saying such but from what I have been reading on social media, it looks like she told her friends about her travels more than she did to me.

Was this something that was a concern to you and your siblings, especially since she did not reveal details of her worry about her husband’s behaviour?

Many men engage in extramarital affairs. It is quite common and it depends on how one sees life or their religious or social conviction. When a man cheats, a woman prays not to get entangled with what he is doing outside. There was never a day the family sat to talk about what the man was doing. I never expected this (her death) to happen. A husband and a wife can disagree or even fight but after disagreeing, they make up.

Can you narrate how the incident occurred or how you got to know about it?

He (her husband) called my elder brother and my elder brother called to tell me about it. He (husband) did not even know how it (the crash) happened.

What did he tell your elder brother?

He told my elder brother that she was involved in an accident. I even thought that she was driving and chatting because we have a family chat room when she made a comment about 6pm or 7pm. So, when I heard about the accident, my question was: was she chatting and driving at the same time, and perhaps, got involved in an accident? It was the following day that I saw the news on social media and people were making some nasty comments about what they thought they knew. I cannot tell you everything about their marriage because they have children and whatever you put out there, their children will see and it will affect them. Let me be plain to you. I cannot tell you everything I know because I know that his first son is on social media, so people should try to help them.

Do you feel she took that decision to run after him in her car, because she could no longer bear it?

I think so to an extent but I do not want to talk about their marriage until certain things get settled. I think something happened, something made her do that. It was not just because her husband was with another lady. No. I think there must have been something else because she knew that her husband was unfaithful to her. There is another reason that triggered her action; perhaps, somebody called her and for that reason, she went out.

Some people think your sister should have focused on herself and her children. Do you think your late sister should have heeded that advice?

I think I will say yes. If she had opened up to me and if I had known that it would lead to this (her death), I would have told her to pull out (of the marriage) but I don’t think there was anything one could look at to say that it would lead to this (her death).

Do you think her husband did not do well by not telling your brother what exactly happened, that your sister was involved in a car crash while chasing him after sighting him with another woman?

I did not hear from him, so I do not know his state of mind when the accident happened. To be sincere, I do not think that when he was running, he expected her to be involved in an accident. Let me put it that way. Let us be fair. He did what I will say any man who was caught would do.

But his action attracted condemnation from many who read the news online.

I am not exonerating him. I am not saying that what he did was right. I did not say so but any man who does not want to be caught red-handed or does not want to be grabbed by his wife when he does something (wrong) would run.

At what point did your late sister’s husband get it wrong?

He got it wrong by getting involved in an extramarital affair. That was where it (the problem) started.

Did he at any point in the marriage complain about your late sister not treating him well?

From what I read on social media, he knew the lady (side chic) long ago but I do not know whether it is true or not, that he dated her while they were undergraduates and that he met my sister while they were both undergraduates. He met her as a Law student. He was also a Law student. They met as undergraduates and it continued until they got married. I think it was a lack of self-discipline, if I may put it that way.

There are photos of a lady on social media alleged to be the woman your late sister’s husband had an affair with. Do you or any of your siblings know the lady?

I saw a picture on social media. I do not know. People called her Lisa or so; I do not remember. I think I saw him with a dark lady but whether she is the person or not, I don’t know. I don’t know her. I only know one or two of his family members.

How did you feel about the event leading to your sister’s death as reported on social media?

Nobody can see or read the news about the death of somebody close to them and feel happy about it. I was sad. It is quite unfortunate. Some men are like that.

Do you think your late sister’s husband made efforts to get her medical attention before she died?

I was not there. Some said that he continued driving (when the crash occurred). Some said that he helped in pulling her out of the car. I saw the picture of my late sister. He could not have pulled her out of the car and left her on the ground. So, I don’t think that he was there when she was pulled out. I am not sure. I have no reason to believe that but what has happened has happened.

Has he formally reported her death to your siblings?

He has not come. My family is in Owerri. He called my elder brother and my brother called me on the same day.

Has any of his siblings contacted you?

Not to my knowledge.

Do you know where her body is at the moment?

It is in Calabar, in a morgue there.

Does your family intend to bury her soon or wait for a proper investigation to be done?

Time will tell.

How are your parents taking the news of her death?

My father is dead and my, mother has not heard of it (Claret’s death). We want to take some time before she gets to know about it.

Was she the only daughter of your parents?

There are three others who are still alive.

Are the police aware of the incident and have they contacted you or any of your siblings?

Not to my knowledge.

Do you know the whereabouts of your late sister’s husband?

He is still in Calabar.

Do you expect the police to take up the case?

Do I expect them to come into the matter? If they are to come into the matter, let them find the person that called my sister. I believe somebody called my sister to tell her about the husband.

Do you think that person has a case to answer?

I don’t know whether it is a case but it was that person that caused all this. Somebody must have seen him and called her (Claret), having told the wife that he was travelling, and then due to the other factor that I don’t want to talk about.

If the matter is taken up by the police, do you want justice to take its course?

What is justice in this matter? What will he be tried or jailed for? For infidelity? Talking about morality and conscience, he can be linked to it (her death) but with our social values, personally, I am not looking towards any case. I am not the eldest. It will be handled internally. That is my opinion, anyway. I am part of the family. The real reason why she went out to catch them (her husband and the lady) is something I may not be able to disclose at the moment but what has happened has happened. Let men learn to respect their marriages. If you believe in polygamy, let it be known that you are a polygamist. There is no need to keep women here and there. I am a Christian but everybody is not a, Christian.

Cease Boredom

Good Afternoon everyone.
Abeg make una laugh small 😂🤣😂🤣

Papa Emeka, my neighbour was in front of his apartment this evening, pressing his phone and drinking a bottle of beer when I came in through the gate. I greeted him and went into my apartment to sleep as I was already exhausted from the 12 rounds of knacking with my Suger mummy.

His wife, Mama Emeka stumbles in from the gate moments later. Exasperated, she asks him:

"Papa Emeka, have you found your lost ID card ?"
The unsuspecting and lost Papa Emeka who couldn't figure out why his wife was in such a mood answers: " No, why do you ask? Why are you so angry, woman?"

Mama Emeka dips her hand into her bag and brings out Papa Emeka's ID card .

" Papa Emeka is this not your ID card ?! Do you know where I saw it ?!

"Nno no, where did you see it?"

"Papa Emeka, so this is what you do,okwaya? This is how you sleep in hotels with small small girls, abi?"

" Anyway, Papa Emeka,I found this on a bed in a hotel room, how did it get there?"

" I don't know! You how did you find it in an hotel room, mama Emeka? Ehhh... So you have started following small small boys eh? You are leaving my house this minute! " Papa Emeka thundered.

" I'm going nowhere. Tell me what your ID card was doing on a bed in an hotel room, Papa Emeka !"

" You tell me what you went to do in an hotel, Mama Emeka! In fact I'm going in to throw your things outside. You must go back to your father's house today. Akwuna kwuna! "

" Ash@wo .... Carrying small small girls to hotels. Useless man. Wowowowo... ", She rants , covering and opening her mouth with her palm to make mocking rhythms .

They've been going back and forth since. Papa Emeka brings Mama Emeka's bag out , before he goes in and comes out with another bag, Mama Emeka have already carried the bag in again.

To make the matter worst, Papa Emeka is now threatening to go to Ezemmuo and find out the man Mama Emeka is cheating on him with so that Ezemmuo can help him send "amu ibi" ( protruding scrotum) to the man.

I can't even sleep again , I'm in my room now praying and asking God to touch Papa Emeka's heart so that he can forgive and forget whatever his wife has done to him. And also for God to wipe away every thought of Ezemmuo and amu ibi from his mind . God abeg save your son for just this one time.

Advantage Of Unity

Advantage of unity

I was five years old when my father and mother had a serious quarrel. This quarrel lasted for a week and my parents were still keeping malice with each other.

Because of the Malice, my mother could not ask my father for the women's contribution she gave him to keep for her. She didn't want to be the first to talk to him. Instead, she went on to borrow the money from a friend to pay the women.

It was that serious.

After a week and three days, my mother conceded defeat but didn't want to come directly to my father to apologize. So instead, she went to our pastor to help talk to my father so they can finally settle. That way it will now look like it was the pastor that settled them.

Our pastor told my mother that he was going to come on Sunday, after service, to settle things between them. I was very happy that at last, my parents were going to be talking and playing again.

That day our pastor gave me 200naira as a gift to buy biscuits while leaving his office. I took the money home and gave it to my father to keep for me. He collected it and shoved it in his wardrobe.

That night when we slept, we heard a gunshot in the compound.

Then a man's voice sounded from outside.

"If we knock for your door, open am. We no come to kill anybody. We are good and gentle men from the roadside."

My mother stood up and started shaking like a fish. She pulled me close and held me tight.

My father started looking for a knife or cutlass to fight battle. I expected my mother to say something, but she didn't. They were still keeping malice.

The knock sounded on our door and my father was the one that opened it for the robbers to come in.

They started asking my father for money and while he struggled to speak, my mother told them we didn't have any money in the house. To get pity, my mother started crying and begging.

When the robbers pulled out a gun and corked it, my father screamed.

"The only money with me now is my wife's contribution money, sir."

"How much is it?"

"Twenty thousand naira, sir."

That was when my mother broke the silence.

"So you can call my contribution money but you cannot call your own. Why didn't you tell them about your shop money that you kept in the wardrobe."

The leader of the robber quickly went outside and called the other robbers.

"Make una come. This family get money."

My parents were still arguing when the robber asked my father to go and bring out the contribution money and the shop money all.

My father went and smartly divided his shop money into half, and brought out all my mother's contribution money.

On seeing this, my mother shouted.

"Ah! See this man o. So you can divide your own into two and carry my contribution money all. You see your life. You cannot be smart to divide my own money into two."

My father started winking at my mother with one eye and telling her not to talk.

And for the first time in two weeks, I heard him call her "sweety".

My mother exploded.

"Who is your sweety? So it has reach robbery I am now sweety. You are wise to hide your money but you can carry all my own to give robbers."

The robbers asked my father to quickly go inside and bring the rest. And when he returned and handed them all the money, the leader of the robbers asked my father and mother to sit down.

To our surprise, he started preaching about the effect of keeping malice. He said he could smell that the house was not in peace. And because of that, they had failed to cooperate with each other at a point like this, because they were angry with each other.

He pointed the gun at my father and mother and asked them to embrace each other and close their eyes.

When my parents opened their eyes, the robbers were gone.

My father started shouting.

My mother started screaming. I quickly stood up and went to check where my father had hidden the 200naira that our pastor had given me.

That was when my father told me that the robbers had taken everything including my 200naira that our pastor gave to me. I fell on the ground and started crying my cry.

People left my parents who had lost thousands of naira, and started telling me sorry because of the way I was crying.

To be continued...

Let's ????

"Baby I'm feeling really down and need to rush off to the hospital to run some tests" my wife said in-between chunks of food in her mouth.

Today is my day off from work and it's a coincidence that my kids are also on midterm break.

My wife would be leaving me with a typical example of Tom and Jerry to cater for all through the day.

The last time such happened, I almost sold my gender right.

I tried all I could to dodge the reality of me being home alone with my kids but it proved abortive. My wife headed to the hospital and left me staring at the kids like this ????????????????. Kids of Age Three and Six respectively.

I was waiting for the first move but none came. That's unusual.

Not until I saw water trooping from the direction of the kitchen that it occurred to me that, those creatures have left the water tap running and the sink which is blocked by plates can't allow water to pass.

They tried stopping the water but ended up spoiling the tap. So they returned and sat peacefully waiting for the calamity to announce itself. Well, it sure did!

I raced off to the kitchen to bring things to normalcy. I mopped my life out and drips of sweats filled my face.

I returned to see the smaller kid hanging of the plasma TV in the living room. I ran to drop him and he came crashing along with the television which fell faced flat on the floor.

I refused to turn the television to see for myself what you all are expecting to hear. Their mother would do that when she returns.

I stood with tears welled up in my eyes staring at the children.

All I could mutter was "Do you want to kill me?" They shook their head negatively.

I decided deep within me that I wasn't gonna have a child again. This two problems are more than enough.

I sat genuflecting on the next line of action When my wife came in screaming happily waving a paper in her hands.

Something I really dreaded to hear at the moment. "Baby I'm pregnant" she announced. One more look at the kids.
I fainted peacefully
