"Has The Nigerian Army Grown Weak?" - See What a Retired General Said About The Boko Haram Killings
GistBro Dec 6, 2020 7:27 AM

The Boko Haram killings is no longer a new thing to Nigerians, as most people now live in fear of being the next victim of their ungodly actions. Most people who live in the northern areas are now scared like never before, because they is no assurance on whether they will live to see the next day or even live to see their family members.

And most of the people who usually fall prey to the Boko Haram attacks are the local farmers who go into the farm to look for their means of survival. Surely it is cruel act for someone to intentionally kill a man for no reason whatsoever, but what can the Nigerian army do to arrest this situation?.

Because when a country lacks security, it makes the citizens to live in fear and this also affects the economy, because the fear of Insecurity is one of the major things that chase away most of our foreign investors who come from developed countries like China, America, Germany and Others. And speaking on this same issue, a retired general whose name is "ishola Williams" however gave a captivating speech that will somehow provoke the government to finding a long lasting solution to the menace of the Boko Haram members.

The retired General however lamented over the poor functionality of the Nigerian army, and he also condemned the act of the present army generals, as they usually send in the junior officials to fight the terrorist and then leave the senior ones behind. According to him, he said that Nigeria army lacks the local intelligence on how to create good tactics to arrest the issue of the Boko Haram crises, as they most spend all their funds in getting sophisticated weapons that will not be used by qualified soldiers.

And speaking on this same issue of good tactics, he however called out to the president to employ the services of some of the retired generals, so as to hold a meeting with them on how to pin point out some locations to fully attack the terrorist and take them down.

In addition to that, he however made an example of how Goodluck Jonathan used the Nigerian army to recover terrorists from the Boko Haram group through the use of good tactics during his reign as president. He also explained that the meaning of this tactics is by taking the war to the enemy zone consistently without giving up or backing down.

And he however made all these speech during an interview with the vanguard news paper, as he said that the only way of winning a war is by taking it hot on the enemy and targeting the gravity zone of the enemy. Because according to him, when you take down the gravity of an enemy zone, it makes the enemy lose focus and also makes it easy for him to be defected with full force.

But will the government be able to restore enough tactics to arrest the issue of Boko Haram before it gets out of hand?. Because time is no longer our friend, as most people are now living of the unknown.

And a retired general has however come out to advise the government on what to do, but the problem is if the government will heed to the advise of ishola Williams.
