CONTENT WRITING (SURVIVAL DIGITAL CLASS)
~2.6 mins read
CONTENT WRITING

Content writing is skill you need to learn in order to create great write-ups for your animation.

1. PROSPECTING

Who is your Client, who are you designing the text Animation for ?

You cannot use the same text Animation for someone who runs a fashion business and someone who owns a restaurant. So first you need to prospect.

Know who you're designing for. This will help you know how to go forward

Ask yourself, Who am I designing for ? Who are the people I hope to attract with this animation ? Old people, young people ? Married couples ?

These are the questions that will guide whatever to decide to put down as the write-up for your Animation

2. PREPARATION

Now that you know who you're designing for and the people your design is meant for. Now you can prepare your write-up to fit those set of people

This is important so your Animation has the best impact

For example if you are designing for a toy shop, you have to build your animation to address parents because parents are the ones who are going to buy toys for their Children

So you use words like...
Make your kids happy by buying them toys they would love

3. APPROACH

Now, it's time to turn information into content. It's time to think

How can you make your client or business or what ever you are advertising look attractive and important to the audience who what to target through the animation ?

How can you make them fall in love with what you have to offer ?

4. PRESENTATION

How would you like to present your idea or content?

STORY: Most people love stories. Tell them a story that would make them fall in love with what you have to offer. Is it a hair product ?.

Tell a story of how a lady lost half of her hair because she didn't have access to an hair product like the one you are offering. Tell a story

INFORMATION: Tell them about the product, all it has to offer and how if can be of help to them.

Emphasize on the problems your products can solve for them. This would help them realize why they need to get your product immediately

5. OBJECTION HANDLING

People rarely believe at first sight so it's your job to convince them to believe at first sight
Handling objections is very easy, you just have to be smart about it

First, you have to acknowledge doubts
I was designing a text Animation for someone trading Bitcoin for people and I had to make a background research and I discovered a lot of people have been scammed through Bitcoin adverts

So what I did was to create a content like this :

"Invest #10000 and above and receive twice your investment.
Wait a minute
Are you sure this is not a scam??

So doing something like this, I was able to capture the trust of the customers at first

Recognize doubts

After doing this, whatever follows up on your text Animation can now convince them enough to either ask questions or buy your product/service

6. CLOSING

Close your Animation well. Give a direct call to action. Should they register, should they click a link, should they send an email, be specific.

TEXT AND TYPOGRAPHY
In a flyer, we have different types of Text.
These texts make your design look better and better.
Let's discuss them:
1. HEADER
The header is the attention getter. The header is the largest text there is on any design. It should be:
a) Short: An header should not be too long else, it can make your design boring and unattractive
b) General: Your header should carry or describe the general purpose of the design
c) Attractive: Your header should be attractive, it should make people interested in going through the rest of your design

2. SUB HEADER
The Sub Header carries an extra information to make the header easier to understand. It describes more about the header

For example:
Header: DICOVER HOW TO STAY FRESH
Subheader: The perfect lotion for your skin

3. SUBTITLES
Subtitles can be found anywhere in a design. You can use subtitles to add information here and there and grab the eye of anyone seeing your design to that particular area

Examples:
Venue
Time
Date
Speaker

4. TEXT
Texts are the body of the design. You use text to describe, give information, explain, and all form of write-ups you would like to add in your design
