Jet Engineer

I am a jet engine mechanic on the F/A-18F Super Hornet. Not many women or men will ever get the opportunity to do what I do. It’s been tough at times throughout my career to have men tell me they will not work for me because I’m a woman. I say to them: “That’s O.K. You don’t have to follow me, but I will bring you along.â€
Representing Witches’ Rights
Melissa R. Grayce, Air Force, 1988-98
When I was stationed in Germany, I was part of a group that wanted to use a recreation center to hold meetings for Wiccans. My letter to the editor, printed in Stars and Stripes, began a journey in which I became a representative for witches’ rights in the military. I still have my dog tags, which indicate my religion as Wiccan.

Over the last few months, Bollywood celebs are wooing us with their comfortable at-home outfits. Choosing comfort over style, B-town beauties have kept us hooked to their lockdown fashion choices. While some stars love to dress up in cute PJs, some divas are making the kaftans look sexy! And, one celebrity who's making a statement with tees is Karisma Kapoor. The actress never fails to impress us with her style and keeps giving us a sneak-peek into her daily life with her Instagram posts. Here's how Karisma made a statement with tees during the quarantine:
- One of the easiest ways to beat tired-looking eyes is to reduce puffiness. You can try the cold spoon hack, which can help to reduce swelling by constricting the blood vessels.
- Another way to quickly revive tired-eyes is to apply an eye mask. You can use eye masks or even a sheet mask, which can help to brighten up the eye area. One can also keep the eye mask in the fridge before application for a cooling effect.
- As they say, prevention is better than cure and that's why one must try to get at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep to beat fatigue. And, that's not it, using a silk pillowcase at night can also help to reduce friction, which causes damage to the sensitive skin around the eyes.
- Try an eye balm for a quick fix. Balms can give a quick hydration boost to the skin and also soothe tired skin. While applying, gently tap around the eyes to bring blood flow to the area.
- When nothing works, you can also turn to some make-up. Before you start concealing, prep your eyes with a colour corrector which will help to neutralize and cancel undertones.
