Cameroonian Youths Protest Against Diaspora Leaders

CAMEROONIAN YOUTHS STAND UP AGAINST DIASPORA LEADERS.
Cameroonian youths in their numbers have flown the locality of the United States Embassy in the capital cit, Yaoundé.
They are in condemnation of what they allegedly said the Diaspora Leaders are instigating in the regions: "Terrorism".
They call on you US authorities to apprehend those diasporas in the US who are sponsors and promoters of the North west and West regions of the country.

CAMEROON LAWYERS DECLARE A NATIONWIDE STRIKE AGAINST POLICE BRUTALITY.

Bar Lawyers in Cameroon declare a Nationwide Strike, November 30, to December 4th.

The Cameroon Bar Council has called for a Nationwide Lawyers' strike following a Protracted brutality Perpetrated by the Judicial Police, most recent being the Courtroom scenario at the Bonanjo Court of First Instance, Douala.

Last week, November 10, at the court of First Instance, Douala, the lawyers were allegedly brutalised, mal-handled and had teargas spread upon them like colour run right in the courtroom.

On November 18, there was the arrest of some lawyers even without arrest warrant. Among those arrested are Barrister Tamfu Richard and Maître Armel Tchuemengne. These two were detained and later transferred to New Bell Prison, Douala to be tried today, 23 November.

In a prompt action, the provisional Bar President, Barrister Atangana Bikouna Claire met with the Bar executives. 

During this meeting, three major decisions were arrived at.
First, Decision to CANCEL THE JUDICIAL HONOUR OF LATE BARRISTER CHARLES TCHAKOUTE PATIE Which was to take place in the Court of Appeal in the Litoral region of Cameroon.

Second, Decision to STAGE A NATIONWIDE LAWYERS' STRIKE from November 30 to December 4 to protest against police brutality on lawyers.

And Third, the Decision to SUSPEND, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE THE APPEARANCE OF LAWYERS in criminal matters, disputes, etcetera across the National territory.
The Nationwide lawyers' Strike is to be observed within all Peaceful measures and every Cameroonian Lawyer is urged to be art of it.
