Zidane, Graham Potter, and Pochettino Are Favourites To Replace Tuchel At Chelsea.

Chelsea has sacked Thomas Tuchel following a disheartening beginning to the season. Who could supplant the German Heroes Association winning strategist?
The Blues spent a record of €296 million on new players like Wesley Fofana, Raheem Sterling, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this transfer window. However, positive results have not followed.
Chelsea has lost three of their last five games and had only three shots on target in Tuesday night's 1-0 misfortune to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League.
New owner Todd Boehly said: "For the benefit of everybody at Chelsea FC, the Club might want to put out its appreciation to Thomas and his staff for every one of their endeavors during their experience with the Club," Chelsea posted on their official site."
"As the new possession bunch arrives at 100 days since assuming control over the Club, and as it proceeds with its diligent effort to take the club forward, the new owners accept it is the perfect opportunity to make this progress."
Brighton coach Graham Potter has arisen as the club's initial #1 to succeed Tuchel. Considered to be quite possibly one of the most strategically capable youthful administrators in the Premier League, the British chap helped shape Marc Cucurella into the left-back Chelsea paid £62m/€72m for this mid-year.
Mauricio Pochettino is likewise an early competitor. The Argentine has been unemployed after leaving PSG - where he succeeded Tuchel - in January 2021. He will feel at home in London, having overseen Tottenham Hotspur for a considerable time, taking them to the Champions League last in 2019.
Zinedine Zidane and Roger Schmidt are also names connected with the vacant administrative post at Stamford Bridge. Zidane left Madrid in 2021 with three Champions League to his repertoire, although his lack of fluency in English could be an issue. Schmidt is right now in charge of Benfica.
Although, Lampard stands an external bet to get back to Chelsea. An extraordinary midfielder for the club, he was sacked back in 2021. However, he has started to make something happen at Everton this season. He might have a remote chance. However, at that point, Boehly has moved on from a man who won the Champions League and FIFA World Cup.

Chelsea Step Up Bid To Add Attacking Options As They Turn To Wilfried Zaha

Chelsea Step Up Bid To Add Attacking Options As They Turn To Wilfried Zaha
Wilfried Zaha is the latest player to be linked with Chelsea in the current summer transfer window. The club’s coach Thomas Tuchel had said he’d like to boost his forward line after seeing Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner head to Inter Milan and RB Leipzig, respectively.
Chelsea has been busy pursuing players in the transfer window after a poor outing last season. Many people hoped Thomas Tuchel to take the club to greater heights as far as winning the EPL. But Chelsea ended last season with the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup trophies.
One standout topic throughout last season was the amazingly poor run of Lukaku and Werner in front of goal. After Lukaku’s big-money move bringing him back to the club from Inter Milan, he seemed a shadow of himself all through the season for Chelsea. His form underlined Chelsea’s struggles to get a reliable leader for their attack.
Still, Lukaku ended up as Chelsea’s third-highest goal scorer last season despite his struggles. He had eight goals in all competitions for the club, the same as Kai Havertz. Chelsea’s top scorer was Mason Mount, who had 11 goals. He was the only Chelsea player to hit double figures in terms of goals last season. That would worry any coach that his attackers struggle for goals.
After completing its takeover, Chelsea is now on under the administration of Todd Boehly. The new reign sets them up nicely for the new season. Their new owner is keen to impress, which has seen the club splash cash on players in the summer transfer window. Chelsea has made six major signings, but only one of those players comes up on the frontline. That is Raheem Sterling, but he plays more as a left winger.
Although Chelsea has Centre-Forward Armando Broja back from Southampton, they still have a telling void in their attack. That deficiency was evident in their latest EPL outing against Leicester City. Even as Sterling stepped up to lead Chelsea to a win with two goals, they lacked any serious goal threat.
Chelsea has made moves for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Barcelona and Anthony Gordon of Everton to solve their attacking issues. So far, Everton has rejected all of Chelsea’s offers, yet the club is still hoping to make a breakthrough.
With the transfer window deadline by the corner, Chelsea now sees Wilfried Zaha as an easier option to land. The idea is that he has only one year left on his contract with Crystal Palace, so the club may not hold out so much for him. Plus, Zaha has been linked to moves away from Palace in previous transfer windows.
It remains to see if Crystal Palace will listen to any offers from Chelsea for a player that they value highly. Also, they’d have to wait and find out if Zaha buys the idea of a move away from his club at the moment. Besides, he’s enjoying his stay there and is happy with the club’s treatment.
