Jesus was taken to the high priest for trial immediately after his arrest as he was questioned without his accusers.

 1. We must aviod temptation by watching and praying so that we won't sin against God.

2. We must learn to be honest and stand firm.

3. We must not be lovers of money like Judas Iscariot who sold Jesus for thirty pieces.

4. We must not deny chirst as Peter did or overrated our power and confidence like peter but to depend on God's grace for assistance.

     The ascension means the way in which Jesus was taken into heaven. Following the numerous appearance of Jesus Christ, he took the eleven disciples to Bethany. Jesus lifted up his hands, blessed them and was taken into heaven.
