The former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, has been seen in a viral video, offering the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, his seat at the number one table at a dinner reception.
The reception was to celebrate with personalities from Ogun State who got national awards on Wednesday.
The viral video showed that the Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun, was present and seated at the same table where Obasanjo dragged Obi to.
In the video, Obasanjo went to take Obi from where he was seated and brought him to the table where Abiodun and others were seated.
Afterwards, Obasanjo said, “My job here is done,” dropped the microphone and made his way out of the event.

Political News!!

However, to beat the deadline of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC as regards the submission of a Vice Presidential Candidate across all parties, the Labour Party has announced that Doyin Okupe, the DG of Peter Obi's campaign would fill in as running mate of Peter Obi. It is expected that this might be changed later because Peter Obi is meant to pick a running mate from the North given the fact that a South-South ticket might not work out in a multiethnic country like Nigeria.
This development however angered Aisha Yesufu who lambasted Peter Obi for rating his trip to Egypt over the political instability in the country. According to her, she said, “I just saw Doyin Okupe trending and I feel like freaking crying. What the freaking hell! I deleted a tweet I wanted to send wanting to say for someone who needed a VP in Egypt just so as not to carry people's minds there!”
