DON'T SIT AT HOME, GO OUT AND VOTE.

Most people speak of change, but not everyone understands what it entails to bring about change. Politics have become a big chunk of the driving force towards change in any sociopolitical setting. Democracy they say is a revolutionary system of government, being actively involved in politics is the golden key to the doors of endless democratic possibilities.
It's heart breaking to see that majority of people still do not understand the importance of taking part in elections towards a good democratic rule and as such feel apathetic towards electoral and political issues.
Think of it like this, would you rather have someone else make decisions for you on how you live, your pattern of education, health care, your human rights, the price of commodities and even what you eat just to mention a few. Politics affects every area of our lives, every elected government is responsible for the policies that are put in place to shape every aspect of the governed body, from economy to civil right and equally standard of living. That's too much power to leave in the hands of someone else, let alone to feel unconcerned about it. Most people feel reluctant to participate in elections and even argue that their votes will not make any difference towards the outcome of the election, but the truth is every vote does really count unless in some cases where the election is tampered with.
Voting is a civic duty of the citizens of every democratic setup and should not be overlooked, good governance bring about good policies that bring about positive change accompanied with good projects such as infrastructure, health care, education. The beautiful thing about democracy is, if the incumbent government does not carryout it duties and campaign promises, electorates can always kick them out of office.
Elections is what make democracy what it is, a system that allows every individual to choose what direction they want their future to go, every citizen is obligated to participate in elections with enthusiasm and and optimism while doing so.
