4 Things You Should Never Do While Praying
~4.1 mins read
The major truth everyone should know is that the devil hates you to be in contact with God. Be always ready because the devil will always want to destroy your prayer life. That is why when you pray, you begin to lose focus or your thoughts begin to wander. So before you pray, as for the help of the Holy Spirit as it was sent to be our comforter and helper.
Just as there are physical laws, there are also laws governing the realm of the spirit. You cannot break those laws and expect an answer from God. Today, I will be sharing with you some things you should avoid while praying if you want your prayers to be answered. I will also list some keys that govern the mystery of answered prayers.

Below are some of those things.

1.    Prayer hypocrisy
Don’t expect a prayer that does not move you to move God. It is only a prayer that is heartfelt that will move heaven. There are Christians who pray because there want others to notice them but this is very wrong and such a prayer will not receive an answer.
2.    Ungratefulness

Philippians 44: 6 says “don’t worry about anything, but in all your prayers, ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart”. Always begin and end your prayers with a big thanks to God. Don’t complain from the beginning of your prayer till the end and expect to receive an answer from God. The gift of life is something you should be grateful for hence, always thank God.

3.    Lack of faith
Faith is the only means by which believers can receive those things God has hidden for us right from the beginning of time. Faith can move mountains. A prayer made without absolute faith in God will not receive an answer. Galatians 3:9 says “Abraham believed and was blessed, so all who believe are blessed as he was”.
4.    Prayer without focus
That is why the Holy Spirit was sent to help us alter those deep things in our heart during prayer. A prayer made without due consciousness and with a wondering mind will not move heaven. Learn to focus and use the power of your imagination during prayer solely focused on God if you want answers to your prayers.

If you want answers to your prayers, below are 4 keys that governs the mystery of answered prayer

1.     A heartfelt prayer. A prayer made from the depth of your spirit moves God. James 5 :16 “ so then, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you will healed. The prayer of a good person has a powerful effect”.
2.    A kind of prayer that is done in the name of Jesus moves heaven. The name of Jesus is the access code and you must stand in his righteousness to be heard. John 16:23 says” when that day comes, you will not ask me for anything. I am telling you the truth. The father will give you whatever you ask him for in my name”.
3.    In accordance to his word. A prayer done according to the word moves God. Ephesians 6: 17 says “and accept salvation as a helmet, and the word of God as the sword which the spirit gives you”.  When you hold God by his words, he will keep his covenant and answer you.
4.    Wrap your prayer up with thanksgiving. Like I said earlier, a prayer full of complain will not move heaven. Begin your prayer by thanking him and end it by giving him the thanks for answering your prayer.

Stop Saying "I Love You Too" When Someone Says That I Love You, It's Incorrect, Say This Instead
~2.3 mins read
Good day everyone, I hope you are having a productive day today.

Today we will be talking about a common English expression that most of us are actually saying it all wrong. English language is indeed a language that is known for its flexibility, so errors can be very prone if taken with levity.

At one point in our lives we always hear the word "I Love You" and most of the time our reply is the common "I Love You Too". This expression is wrong from a different perspective, the word 'TOO' is used to express an object.

Example:- I have this type of pen too (expressing the object PEN)
We have the same type of cloth too. (expressing the object CLOTH)
So therefore TOO cannot be used to express LOVE because love is a feeling and not an object.
So the best way to reply to it is by saying.
I love you as well or I love you also.
