A lot has been said about identical twins, and the strange case of the identical twins June and Jennifer Gibbons remains yet another enigma that will continue to attract even more broad discussions about identical twins. 

June and Jennifer Gibbons only speak with each other— until one of them died, either of them or both of them never talked to anyone else. Their language of communication is strange and they mirror each other's action by doing everything at the same time. 

In school, they refused to read or write and yet their room is filled with sheets of papers with many strange and scary fictional stories scrambled on the papers. They also recorded some of the plays they wrote, on tape. 

Attempt to separate the twin sisters became another problem, as both sisters withdrew completely from the society when they were separated. At one point during their separation, it took two people to get June out of bed, after which she was simply propped against a wall, her body “stiff and heavy as a corpse.”

It wasn't long before they were reunited. But after their reunion their bond and withdrawal from the society increased. They stopped having verbal communicatio with their parents. They write to them instead of speaking. 

Another mistake happened when they confined the sisters to a psychiatric hospital for 11 years, all in an attempt to break their bond and "make them normal". 

In the end, one of the twin sisters (Jennifer) died. And after her death, June started talking to everyone and living a normal life.

A Chinese man refused to care for his son after discovering he’s not actually his biological child.

 

The 5-year-old, who is being identified under the pseudonym "Xiao Rui," was abandoned at preschool last week by his father.

 

According to reports, the father dropped him off for school as usual but failed to return to collect him in the evening.

Xiao had a backpack with him containing only a change of clothes and a mobile phone, reported the Jiangxi Morning Daily via the South China Morning Post.

 

The boy’s teacher, whom the publications referred to by his surname, Chen, reportedly tried to contact his father.

 

The father spoke to Chen and refused to pick up the child, stating that he wasn’t the boy’s biological father — according to a paternity test — and that Xiao was now the school’s problem.

 

Chen visited Xiao’s home later and found it to be empty, and his mother’s whereabouts were unknown. 

Local reports said they contacted police, who made contact with Xiao’s grandfather and uncle — but they also allegedly refused to pick the boy up.- NY POST
