Nigeria has been counting losses and no gains, according to ohanaeze Ndigbo, there are virtually nothing to celebrate at the 60th anniversary of Nigeria.

According to Prince Uche Achi Okpaga, the General Secretary of the body, he said that Nigeria has gone more backward that forward.

"There is virtually nothing to celebrate at the 60th anniversary of Nigeria. A civil servants l retires at the age of 60. This means that at that age such retires has offer the best of his/her services and initiatives.

"But that's not the case of Nigeria, @60 Nigeria is still counting losses instead of gains.

Today Boko Haram, bandits and Fulani heardsmen are killing millitary officers, citizens are being killed everyday and we are one of the most Distinguished country that send troops to trouble Country and we couldn't even solve our own problem.

BREAKING: FIRE GUTS INEC'S HEAD OFFICE IN ONDO A MONTH TO GUBERNATORIAL ELECTIONS

The Ondo State Head Office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Thursday has been gutted by fire, a month to the state's gubernatorial election.


The fire which began around 8 pm engulfed the container housing Smart card readers, the Electoral Commission said.

A statement released by INEC states that the National Commissioner, Barrister Festus Okoye has promised to promptly investigate the cause of the fire.


Ondo State governorship election is scheduled for October 10, 2020
